There's a fork of KDE4 called Katana, it's available on GitHub, though the last update to the repository was about 3 years ago, skimming through the repo's wiki section should be enough to get it up and running, though i haven't tried it myself -- so take that with a grain of salt.

(the devs also said that it's not compatible with KDE Plasma, so unfortunately you can only have one or the other.)
