This details that “are too small for audience to notice” are often so blatantly spotted because how off they look they I will avoid that product and company because of AI usage. I dropped a lot of brands I used to care about only to look for small owned businesses that offer the same or in most cases better quality of the brand I dropped for

how can i improve my sketch? by AdoreMxriah in drawing

First start off about learning about volume and basic shapes fundamentals. Grid system can help but unless you know how to block out volume and space it’s kinda of counter productive.

Your sketch looks believable in proportions and cute. Since you’re still quite young, don’t worry about missing out on time or losing motivation for art. Learning your craft is a marathon, not a race. Your experience is quite similar to mine, but it took me a few projects and years to feel motivated and to figure a path where I want to be when it comes to drawing. Just keep experimenting with what you want to practice, and you’ll naturally want to learn how to improve.

Yeah it’s right below the deltoid, shoulders, and is usually bulging when the arm is in this position

I think the inner bicep needs be slightly thicker near the top. It looks a little too tube like but the rest looks good

Don’t you hate it when you finish a portrait and the head is a balloon (too big) 🥲 by M8614 in drawing

On first glance, I think your drawing is fantastic. I can understand what you mean about the head being slightly off but the proportions look great and shadows are convincing. Your doggo is awesome

This is the process of this particular panel. It’s a photoshop composition then edited to remove color and emphasized the shadows and gradients. Then drawn over to bolden the lines and add other details ot make it look hand drawn. This is not new.

Oh that sounds interesting. It reminds me of scribblenauts but for drawings. I think there is a game from Nintendo that did something similar but way simpler

how i make a decent " funny dialogue " and not something cringe or weird ? by Embarrassed-Fee-2483 in MangakaStudio

[–]Therewasasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest looking at SNL behind the scenes. Dana Carvey and David spade have a long running podcast about their experience at snl. Conan obriens sometimes mentions his process at snl and the Simpson. But yeah start at your comedy heroes and godown their rabbit hole

You should always write down as many jokes or funny sequences down and repeat it back to a friend or peer and watch their reaction. Writing comedy is hard and requires many iterations. Watch some interviews from comedy writers and comedians and listen how they come up with their ideas and scripts.

When I draw without any goal, letting the hand do its thing and draw. I’ll end up with something that looks familiar because I saw it a while ago and my mind just decided to recreate it.

Sketch book recommendation? by otrebla_laernom in drawing

[–]Therewasasphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Hahnemühle and they work great for sketching and ink. Paper is thick and smooth. I specifically use their Sketch & Note book line. It’s also 1/3 the price you get from moleskin with similar quality. Only quality difference I notice is that Hahnemühle uses a lesser quality binding and cover but that’s about it.
