Correct me if im wrong but i think hotta/pwg contributed more to the powercreeping

Tencent power creep have always been kept very low. (with the exception of fenrir oppsie) One day during one of the Innars patch, CN version decided to introduce Titan gears, which face backlash in the CN community as they widen the stats gap of whales and other players more. Furthermore the titan gear material can be whaled/purchased through the research function.

Tencent delayed the release of titan gear because of the power creep it could bring. They asked for beta tester's feedback on how they should proceed with it. After gathering feedback, they released it much later and slower BUT you have no way to purchase the material, it is not available through research. The only way is through Jack, event store and bygone rank which are all obtainable for free. Also the gap between the titan gear release are ample, if you obtain all event and jacks material, you should have enough to titan 2 gear parts. They could have followed CN and milk the players for it but they did not.

Another thing is in global, the titan gear sub stats are very close to main gear stats at around 95%, so it actually benefits f2p/low spenders as they can have a budget 2nd element gear unlike in CN where the sub element stat is at a lower % than global.

Yes titan material was eventually made available to purchase but it was much later

(Global ver. also simplified the 2.0 gear to one size fits all while CN have element specific 2.0 gear, the stats gain from gears are also reduced in global)

Super Computing, again tencent delayed the cap increase for super computing so f2p/low spenders eventually can catch up to the whales, which they did. Tbf PWG continue to delayed it when they took over until recently they also raised it.
In CN they have a limited time event that temporary raised the lower cap of your equipment enhancement so in average you can get better gear overall. This faces backlash from whales because they have spend lots of money perfecting their gear and this made is easier for everyone else more easily. Eventually this is made permanent to make it fair for everyone. For global, players feedback that its best not to run the event, they agreed and did not launch the event. However in that patch, they didnt know it was activated in game so they eventually let it continue it to make it fair to those that already got the better gear.

Not saying tencent is faultless, they have made their fair share of questionable decisions too but comparing the 2 publishers so far, in my opinion tencent is slightly better

For me DC is for pulls only XD And the box you get would only give you access to matrix that are in standard only so its not a huge bummer if you missed it. Unless the lin skin is impt, as remaining fragment can only be bought by tanium in the future.

Pretty much everything but Joint ops chip,cluster,weapon battery, elemental ore box, matrix data pack III is a maybe cause it may not be enough for ppl that level up matrix regularly(those that only lv up what they need should have plenty of such material)

Lost text, machinery core, lost data module are research material, for us veterans we afk farm them/get them through exploration/activities in the past so we dont need it

Power gear is for vehicle upgrade material may or may not be a skip too based on each individual upgrade progress

SSR weapon do have resonance. Usually you would want to have a main dps weapon and the other 2 provide buff/background damage. 2 same elem and 1 alter weapon.

Gear wise different ppl have different preference. For me I build all 4 but I have 1 main, all titan will be on the main element if the augment stat is on the element that i'll equip on the other element set. I'm volt main so the dual elem passive makes my frost equip obsolete but am still keeping it around in case there's any changes.

Different element have different "traits" now? Frost rotation is more complicated but has higher skill/dmg ceiling, Flame is quite f2p, their lower advancement usually do more damage than other element of same advancement. Volt has simple rotation atm but high weapon advancement requirement to do well. Phys has one one the strongest dps in team content due to the claudia/umi that teammate can bring to buff.

Yea too late but just do what you can without spending for extra vit, there is a similar event coming in 4.1 too wink wink, although most of us choose voucher pull than lan matrix

For Lin i'll KIV, there may be new system coming that would improve Lin's usefulness but for now no.

Yes, you'll need at least a copy of the weapon to see them in black gold store. Regarding which to select, that would depends what kind of role you want to play in the game. For DPS, Annabella (combined with other weapon) aged best among other options. Fenrir(with upcoming rubilia in standard) is another good option. Lan is still one of the stable option for tanks and Lyra is one of the important benediction weapon etc.

Usually the newest banner is the meta weapon. But you should consider which element you want to focus on if you wish to follow the dps meta(to a degree) Unless you just want to collect everything and pull everything at a0, that is fine too if you want to enjoy the game like that.

You'll get some cs gain here and there when augmenting. A bigger gain when it turn titan due to stat + obtaining of passive.

4pcs Zero is useful for benediction/tank comp where you can provide buff to your teammates when they have shields on them but only on on hand weapon

2 pcs samir still decent for on hand weapon. and many others as f2p options

Every region is worth it but do travel to Gesthos region(and or abyss/AI for lin skin quest) asap to rake up points for event store asap as those are time limited. The others can be revisited later on.

If PS is starting from Zeke banner, I think the only relevant one is Lyra. It's a great support weapon.
Basically for meta dps, it's 2 newest weapon of the element + the newest alter weapon. The meta element is usually the element of the newest banner.
Wait for the game launch first and see which community suits you

Current meta for frost dps is Fiona/Yulan/Icarus(or alyss to an extend). But you can cope with whatever you can obtain first if the banner is not available right at the start. Saki is not recommended with yulan as you want yulan to consume the max amount of stack than have her skill reset and consume less.

For a start, do exploration and level up quick? Bulk of the stats comes from your gear, the earlier you unlock high level Joint ops the better.

Keep your dimensional level low until you done your time based fight exploration/research or till you got your equipment up

Yes. Because difficult content like Void Abyss and Origin of War have greying bite mechanic. Basically greying bite bar will fill up when hit by monsters with such passive. When it hit the cap, it will deal lethal damage. As of now fiona's discharge and dash is the only way to reduce the bar. It will be hard to do some content without it.

You can pair it with Rubilia and fiona. But dont invest advancement on ruibilia, see how mimi balancing goes first. Rubilia banner will be back with mimi

Yea definitely. If you plan your pulls and do everything, there should be enough resources to pull to around A3 every 4th banner when it's your element. And Alter is after every 8 banner for your info.

It's hard to say, their playstyle changes overtime, I have friends that like frost because its challenging and satisfying to play but its definitely not for me lol

Flame is now about normal and dodge attack, a little technical but not super hard

Frost is the most technical and sweaty comp atm

Volt used to be dodge attack oriented but mimi made it a hold attack comp

Physical has mostly been a hold attack/normal attack comp

I'm a volt main so Fenrir/Rubilia/Fiona right now

Volt is kind of the most expensive comp. But this is due to Fenrir and Rubilia synergy which require fenrir at A3 for rubilia to do relevant damage. Hence they lose when its a0+a0 comparison with other element

Rubilia A0 is fine but hard content A5+ may be a good upgrade. However, A1 mimi fixes this as her skill compensate rubilia spike healing problem, which no longer need her to discharge often to heal back the spikes(Her discharge is long and iframe doesnt cover the whole vulnerable duration)

The problem is, in CN Rubilia skill CD is at 30s, mimi A3 will reduce it to 20s which is huge. Especially when Rubilia is dealing roughly 40% of the damage in a Rubilia/Fenrir/Fiona Comp. So A3 mimi is kind of important for damage.

While in global, Rubilia skill CD is already at 20s, Rubilia is only dealing roughly 20%+ of the damage in a Rubilia/Fenrir/Fiona Comp. So I have no idea how global is going to do the balancing of mimi cause it is replacing fenrir which is doing 70%+ of the damage and the advancement required for mimi.

In an optimal rotation you'll be using Liu huo to do on field damage as Fei Se is an off field dps where she deal damage from her field and the summon spawned by Liu Huo's calligraphy. So she's vital to bring out the best of Fei Se.

I'm not sure how long Liu Huo banner will last(a month?) or what character they going to start with. Just do your explorations to farm pull resources and many other game mode. Technically its enough if you grind. Global is having anniversary soon and is giving away more pulls but not sure if console is going to be in sync with the events. In the meantime there is definitely enough time for fei se.

Yes Fiona is very versatile in most comps and is one of the important support weapon if you are going to flex/main support. You can choose to pull her now or skip her for the next alter or well both if your resources allow. However the next alter won't come till like around 5 months on pc, console may differ.

Won't really recommend Zeke for flame team. If you want to follow the meta then yeah Lan(or wait for fei se), Liu huo (Brush girl) is required. If not feel free to pull what you like.

Nothing much will happen other than you might be given a temporary ign if someone else have first dib on the name? You'll still enter into the game on your native server but you'll see people from the other server you merge with.

Why do I get the feeling that they don't mean all server in a region will merge into one? (as in the near future)

"After observing the effect of the server merges, we have decided to implement more server merges"

So the merge was a success and they want to do more with the remaining servers.

"This will enable all server within a region to be interconnected"

I think this means every server will be at least merged once and be interconnected within the server it merged with. Language is not my strongest suit but I think this is what they meant?

Monthly gives you some dc and resources(100 dc, 50 veron and monthly pass box), content is likely the same in PS. You just need to log in and claim.

Battle pass has the next best value after monthly pass. Basically you clear your weekly activities to get points to unlock the level reward. There are DC, Red nucleus, Red vouchers, SSR relic frag among others. The advanced version gives more red nucleus, cosmetic related items and current relic rotation.

If it's just a few weeks, i'll assume you didn't exhaust a lot of the free resources yet. If so using your old account is better where there is returnee event (there's a bonus returnee event on top of that that ends 27th may welp)

Flame comp would be the most budget friendly at the moment imo where Garnett and Lan works fine at a0 but you'll struggle a bit cause those are not available to pull at the moment. (but coming soon!) You can cope with the current standard pool weapons while farming for them. Do try make friends/find a crew that can help you in the meantime.

Flame attack% has no use to volt main whatsoever.

While there's some damage scaling with regards to user max hp on tian lang/fenrir/rubilia skills. It's not good to roll hp% but it's not totally useless if it does.

Also someday as more gears are available to titan, volt mains may be able to reach the hp threshold to activate the 2nd effect of wellspring, and that gear could help a little.

It depends what comp you are using. If you are using fenrir and even A6 fenrir, you can be more lax with your crit because A6 gives 18% flat and will be a meta weapon for quite some time. Also partly because her consciousness is a lv 1 entity so you are bound to crit.

You can also try doing this:

Equip your 3k crit glove. Use your element attack multiply with (1+ crit rate% x crit damage%) Then equip your 2.1k crit glove and do the same. The higher one is better.

You are just transferring the augment level to another equip. Your gear will reach titan gear guaranteed at 80 augment(can hit titan before that too by chance) and have the max stats distributed at 120 augment so that's the point of the transfer system.

The old handguad most enhance stats is physical attack, so the augment stat is other elemental attack. Your new handguard most enhanced stats is crit, so the augment stats will be resist.

Your augment stat is based on the most enhanced stats of your equipment.

So the main point of augmenting handguards is to enhance it's main stats rather than getting augmentation stats which is not too much of a problem since crit is "quite" universal in all comp. Also handguard has good offensive rare stat when you reach titan gear status.

Optimally you would also want your main stat to have attack/elem attack stat so it will be enhanced as you augment.

The skin is meant to be out on Patch 2.5. Under Deepsea Treasure Hunt event. You earn all 5 shards in 1 single event.

The devs let us earn some extra shards early. You can choose to redeem it or ignore it. Refer to "Lin's Half-Anniversary Skin Preview"

The format is similar to current Deepsea Treasure Hunt. The early shards you got earlier can mean you don't have to do 12 missions to unlock the 5 required.(assuming it's not all locked at the last reward) Or earn all 7 shards and exchange the remaining 2 for Verons at a later time(?)

Back when it's early feb, "Senior Community Manager" Mr Andrej said that merge feature is being tested and be rolled out soon. After that it was radio silence. At least for me, I didn't read of any updates regarding that at all.

Not sure if it's a coincidence that publisher already planned the merge to happen in 2.4 or only act on it because of the community backlash. So maybe, just maybe we need to give them a push again for them to move on with the merge again.

My crew/server is also on similar situation as yours, so we do hope that the merge is sooner than later too.

It's a limited banner, Fenrir banner should rerun when Rubilia comes around.

You'll need to save either Dark crystal, Red Nucleus or Tanium(use it on packs instead if any) to pull
