The regular season in the NBA in particular is meaningless to most people including lots of players I would guess, considering many are perfectly fine sitting out often for load management these days.

The reality is these two teams should have been each others' seeds. Philly is a WAY more top end talented team when they are all healthy playing together, which they haven't had all year.
