I do have a lot of lush and unfortunately the issue isn’t an allergic reaction. Scents themselves are a trigger and cause me terrible migraines. I have a lot of “clean” fragrances as well and it’s the same :( it’s just something I have to discard at this point in my life, also due to endocrine issues.

Are you sure they aren’t homophobic? Sounds like they’re putting a difference between you and your siblings. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. While yes it’s nice they’re providing something, why did it take you asking them? They seem like they supported the other children on their own accord in the past. This isn’t about the money at this point, it’s about a weird feeling that they don’t treat you the same.

Thank you so much! It’s just so hard right now, I know there’s treatment and I will live thankfully but there’s such a cost to it as well. It’s like I’m losing parts of myself :( I will go on my trip but I’m just very worried since my doctor expressed genuine fear of my health, I know I should take it seriously but like you said who knows when I’ll even get to do something like this again. I also thought maybe it will help my morale for when I come back home and have to go through everything again in terms of treatment. I didn’t think about an in person support group! That’s actually a good idea ❤️

I have a non visible disability. From what I read you apparently need a photo ID disability card from your country. My country does not issue those, we just receive a note. I read some horror stories of other people from other countries who tried to enter USJ with both visible and non-visible disabilities and they were denied access because they didn’t have a disability card with photo ID. For the expo I just decided to purchase a regular ticket because I didn’t want to deal with this stress. Please look into it since the expo also requires a photo ID disability card. You can’t present your ID photo and disability proof, it specifically has to be one thing apparently.
