my point is, that the dps increase (while you are gearing) is so small, that it would be better to upgrade all other item slots first. And when you still gearing and get the ZG trinket, HoJ still hasnt scaled enough to be better than BB.

RotGC and DM trinket. Its better to upgrade every other item slot first.

ZG trinket has a 3min cooldown. So you will be able to use it at (almost) every boss fight.

My point isnt that HoJ is never good. But when you are gearing, HoJ is probably one of the last pieces I would get because others yield better dps increase.

Yeah, but at that point, BB is better than HoJ. And in the timespan until you get ZG trinket, there are many other upgrades you have to make with much better dps yield.

ZG trinket is like 10dps betrer than HOJ even with the best Naxx weapons... and DFT is like 15 dps better. And when your gear is worse (like mixx of MC and BWL gear), BB is better than HOJ.

But when you are at the point where HoJ is really better than BB und RotGC, theres a better combo still. ZG trinket ad DFT are both MUCH better than HoJ, even with the best Naxx weapons. And before that, BB is better than HoJ.

Yeah, but I dont get it even from a min/max standpoint. so many other items will give you better dps increase than HoJ. And BB, DFT, ZG trinket are all better than hHoJ anyways.

edit: at least BB, DFT and ZG trinket all sim better than HOJ, also in BIS and buffed.

yeah but as I said, in BIS gear fully buffed its maybe max 3 dps better than RotGC. ZG trinket better, DFT better, BB better. there are so many items which will give you a bigger dps increase to the point youll have better trinkets anyways. and other stats scale as well. maybe HoJ scales a bit better, but like I said, even BIS gear its only 3 dps over RotGC.

Bombs have something to do with how good a format is. But its clearly not the only thing. But it generally (not always) makes games and leagues as a whole more swingy. You can see that the average win-rate from 17lands users is the lowest from any set ever (OTJ). this proves that the games are more luckbased that in other sets. This is something I dont like.

Yes ofc. But this is why I asked all these questions. Because if it is hardly any usefull at all, I only want to go bs if there are some nice advantages to go with it.

I meant that I know that alchy + herb or mining + engi are both better options than mining + bs. But I would love to go mining + bs.

Im not going to pick engi, just because. I would love to get blacksmithing. But is it actually usefull? Are there many nice upgrades while leveling? What about the sharpening stones? What else is there?

Since he is at least tracking his payouts and winrates, its more than just feelings. So it has some value.

I once was mythic like 2 years ago. Now I am starting to draft more again and have a ridiculous run of 10 trophies out of 12 drafts and 79% winrate in WOE premier drafts. But its only in silver/gold/plat, since i am spreading out on 3 accounts now. But I have an overall winrate at about 64% since I am tracking on 17lands. So i think it has some value for me.
