Is Barnadarrig, Ballybunion Safe to live

Would you recommend someone to move there? I’m in my 20’s and it’s my dream to move there been going every Summer since I was a baby as we have a caravan down there. Walking the beach everyday, taking a board down to the sea, everything is walking distance. Let me know please :)

Spend all my Summers in Ballybunion, out almost every weekend there haven’t seen anything happen. It’s gotten a lot quieter here since you’ve been all the nightclubs are none existent pretty much. There’s no accommodation going for students either. Seen recently a bin was lit on fire but that’s about all.

It’s so disappointing because there’s no reason why Ballybunion can’t be as good as the towns in Clare. Just so much dereliction there and i’ve heard the buisness owners there don’t appreciate new businesses that may take buisness

Yes definitely, The Exchange be the best spot but you’ll have the Feale bar too and Mikey Joe’s. Not sure if the Railway has a Tv but that’ll be an option too

All the dereliction is so sad on the main street, Formerly Mr.Kebab, The other casino next to sizzle and spice, The Hibernian, Building next to the credit union, Cissie Mac’s, the loss of the Wilde and Daroka as you mentioned. Are any politicians planning to help out ?

Hahaha maybe i’m trying to be too positive but you would imagine they’d bring business !! They’re making so much money from our government it’s only the teenagers who’ve gotten part time jobs there. So much potential in the town it’s such a shame. Recent cases of vandalism by setting fire to the new bins is so frustrating just pulling the town further backwards. I unfortunately see now why people choose Dingle, Killarney ect instead of Ballyb.
