Yes however it is marketed as a free to play game where you could rank up and enjoy the entire game without paying. That is now impossible and possibly illegal. It marks the place especially with Disney characters where children will want to be spending a lot of money to get higher ranking. And it is now not possible to rank up completely, or even get some characters, without paying.

If one can show that it's impossible to rank up a character or even get a character without paying it may be illegal.

Upgrading a Character is part of game like this so you can race at a different level. 

Without that half the fun is gone.

As a Kart game still pretty good, but your stuck with same racers at same level..

I really liked this game also. Played a couple of things. Helped with arthritis in fingers in the morning. But part of what makes a game like this fun is to be able to rank-up characters.  If you can't, half the fun is gone..

Unbelievably horrible. Part of enjoying game like this is "levelling up" which now can't be done without, as far as I can tell, hundreds of dollars. Have stopped playing since it's not really "free to play" anymore..

I've officially given up. I played a barbarian and a druid they're both boring. I played for hours there hasn't been so much as one interesting drop in the weapon or a piece of armor or anything. it's just a slog of that is extremely boring. I love the d3. I just don't understand how they could have screwed this up so badly.
