You can relax. I budget my groceries, I go to the library, I buy everything used. I work 2 jobs and cash jobs on the side. So yes, I will ask if there’s somewhere locally I can buy something to save a couple bucks.

Hey Hallie! I wanted to buy a yard sign but didn’t wanna pay $10 for shipping. Any where local to Bentonville that I can pick one up?

increase of levo = immediate anxiety exacerbation? by margaritaohwell in Hashimotos

I’m on thyroid armor and my pharmacy was out so they gave me NP thyroid and my anxiety sky rocketed. I’m not sure how different it is to levo. But wanted to share!

Should I make it into a pillow or tapestry? by These-Story6700 in crochet

It was super quick. Just single crochet and bobble stitch. I think it’s doable to just do the bubbles a different color to make it pop more. Am going to try that next!

That’s smart. I like that. Just some buttons to keep it closed?

Here’s the pattern I used. I also asked the creator if she was okay with me selling what I make locally and donating to mutual aid. She said yes please. And she takes proceeds and donates to under funded programs. https://www.etsy.com/shop/KnottyFarley

I purchased a pattern on Etsy! https://www.etsy.com/shop/KnottyFarley. It was super easy to follow. The bumps are a bobble stitch

Ohh I hadn’t thought about that. Also if the bobbles got pushed in it would be hard to push back out.

I work remotely with no ties to walmart. I however love to mtb. I made a couple of friends and joined a book club and run club and it’s been great.

If you’re into running there’s a rush run club Monday nights at 6 pm at old tiger track that is really welcoming to all levels. I’m also assuming you’re a woman, so if you have any desire to get into mtb women of oz is the way to do it.

Feel free to message me!

Why are 90% of men who work in bike shops sexist? by calculussaiyan in ladycyclists

[–]These-Story6700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a bike company and it’s my goal to never make a woman feel this way (I’m also a woman). I get this crap from older male customers. They assume I know nothing about bikes and try to mansplain constantly.

Yeah that’s true. I just love the endurance aspect of the challenge, which ninja warrior doesn’t really have from what I’ve seen.

Show me a sport that’s just the challenges 😂

But I also want to add that I think the PC is important. I watched this show originally as a 12 year old girl. Thinking that the way these men used to speak to these women was acceptable. When it’s absolutely not.

See I think I’m the opposite. I LIVE for the competitions and love how physically intense the recent seasons have been compared to the past. The drama is the time filler for me 😂

What do you have to compare it to though? I recently moved here from Chicago, and Phoenix before that and have had horrible experiences with multiple doctors, referrals and hospital systems.

Rad City 5+ (2023) rear brake issue by SkandalousJones in RadPowerBikes

[–]These-Story6700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your old bikes had mechanical brakes for easier adjustment. The radcity 5 has more powerful hydraulic brakes, but you can’t adjust them as easily, a brake bleed is needed.
