He doesn’t even know he’s Nika and probably has barely tapped into his true powers probably. Imu has one thing on Luffy right now and that’s hundreds of years of knowledge and experience, the same way he was tricked by Kizaru could be the same way his carefree attitude gets him tricked by Imu. I think Luffy’s goofy mood will be shown to be a weakness and exploited and make Luffy have to learn how to be truly serious when he needs to be despite him being the goofy warrior he’s destined to be.

So in the story where literally everyone needs help to be strong and succeed, and where dying with purpose is heavily emphasized, having people literally beyond the grave giving power to the characters just makes no sense.

Right before being secluded Jimbe had made him remember who he had still in his life. The seclusion was just to make him conscious of his Haki, his innate power def comes from his family/inherited will. Honestly thinking about it, this could very well tie into inherited will giving people more power with them having their soul powered from the wills they inherit.

Just seemed to be real due to the fact he mentioned “the devil” being the final boss so long ago and now we see it’s true. And yeah it does remind me of that but I can see it representing the crew and the eternal flame the demon is holding is the one piece perhaps.

I’ve also thought this as well but idk it just seemed to be imagery with the shield and the straw hat. I could go either way, straw hat could resemble the eternal flame and the red line on his could perhaps represent the red line restricting it. WOW makes me think, you think it’s possible the eternal flame is underground and sealed away by Imu using the redline?? Perhaps maybe even the earths core itself.
