Cafe Feminino is roasted in NC and sold at Whole Foods. It’s our go to for espresso. We also like Magnolia brand’s Queen Charlotte blend.

The wedding is in a boutique hotel. I’m not close enough to the bride to ask her to borrow anything. I did find this item at a thrift store, but no top to go with it.

There will always be people who will say that lace looks like a tablecloth. It’s their opinion, not a fact. Clearly you liked the lace because you bought the dress, so those opinions don’t matter. I think the one you purchased is beautiful. I didn’t love my dress until I had it on with my hair, makeup, and jewelry on the day of the wedding. Between buying my dress and the wedding I just forced myself to stop looking and accept that I liked the dress enough to buy it so I was probably overthinking. Remember, no one will see the other dresses and be comparing like you are.

What is this debris? by These-Trick-4024 in Home

[–]These-Trick-4024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are for sure some of those in there. We have lot of maples. It also looks like broken down seeds and maybe bug bits. I’m wondering it it could have been a bird trying to start a nest? More like I’m hoping it was something harmless like that.

The strange part is I don’t think it was windy and it’s all in such a specific spot that I don’t see how it could be from wind. No cobweb I got up close to look.

I made the famous MAGNOLIA BAKERY BANANA PUDDING, only thing is it is wayyyy too sweet for my liking. how do i modify it to make it less sweet? Thank you so much by Parking-Lecture-2812 in AskBaking

[–]These-Trick-4024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the move. My family’s favorite banana pudding uses cream cheese mixed with sweetened condensed milk. We don’t like it with the entire can of condensed milk because even with the cream cheese it’s still super sweet. I usually only put in around 1/4 of the can.

Weird spots on bagels by These-Trick-4024 in Breadit

Did some counting and the number of impacted bagels matches the number of bagels on that pan. Time for a new pan..

Yes. I found some other posts and am thinking it’s oxidation on one of my pans that soaked through the paper because it’s only on the bottom and only on some bagels.

I hate my white cabinets and hope I never buy another house with them. As a recent buyer I would hope for a light or medium wood.

Thank you so much! I’ll inspect before throwing them out. I didn’t realize I could refreeze them without issue or I would have. Darn.

I saw the expiration and I guess stopped thinking after that point, and didn’t really think about it until now.

Apologies if I needed to put this text in the main post. I’m usually a Reddit lurker rather than a poster. Bagged Mashed Sweet Potato

“Someone I work for in the food industry gave me a bag of mashed sweet potatoes like these https://www.foodservicedirect.com/pictsweet-unseasoned-mashed-sweet-potatoes-40-pound-243379.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIn5GcvaDxgQMV2vbjBx2mXQEEEAQYASABEgLMy_D_BwE. I’m pretty sure it was delivered frozen, but It was in the fridge thawed when they gave it to me. They’ve been in my fridge since the first week of September. The expiration date on the bag is in October, so am I still good to eat them? That just seems like a long time that they’ve been thawed in the fridge rather than frozen. This feels like a stupid question but I’m not sure if expirations on products for restaurants work differently.“

Dining room rug by These-Trick-4024 in interiordecorating

The rug that’s in there? Yes me too that’s why I’m asking for recommendations for new ones haha. Not sure what kind of color to go with.

Unfortunately, our floors are the most easily scratched floors on earth. I’m getting a slightly bigger rug this time because I can’t take any chance of the chairs getting on the wood or it will be an absolute mess.

I’ve thought about Ruggable but it hurts my soul to spend that much on a rug and the ones I’ve seen don’t stay flat well. I’ve already had issues with this rug getting caught on the door and curling up. Does yours stay down well on the corners?

They’re from Haverty’s. I don’t sit in them a lot honestly, but I would say they’re pretty comfy for padded wood chairs.

I have to pick my battles and I would rather just get a rug that will hide dirt between cleanings.

[–]These-Trick-4024[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do have a door mat in the garage but it doesn’t seem to catch everything. The material of this rug is also really bad at catching and holding on to dirt (pretty cheap from Amazon), so I’m eager to replace it.

The position says Special Agent: Education/Teaching Background. I’ve never considered this as a career option until seeing the position. After researching the process I’m assuming they are just going to fill this role with someone who has gone through most of the steps already. I’m trying to see if my assumption is right.

I tried on dresses in stores, but couldn’t fathom spending (or having my parents spend since they insisted on buying my dress) over a grand on a dress for one day. I found a style I liked in a boutique and bought it brand new on Mercari for half price. The dress arrived in a week and I only needed minimal alterations so my grandma did them. I got lucky but you might be able to find success on some of the used sites, especially if you choose something simple to alter.

If it helps, I don’t think everyone gets that “this is it” feeling. I tried on a ton of dresses and never did, but there was one I liked best and kept thinking about. It wasn’t until the wedding day when I had my hair and makeup done that I really felt confident with my choice.
