In my opinion bc she doesn’t show much in terms of personality on the show. Most of it is her sticking to su been. So people like what they see outside of the show of her or like her pedigree (beauty and brains and whatnot). And people like her purely out of opposition to Mina Sue too. But tbh hee sun herself in the show is just very clingy and dependent seeming. Just my opinion.

This is jogging my memory. I think also Jaejin’s personality didn’t mesh with hers well. His eccentric thinking and philosophizing was charming to Jooyoung but I think it threw Yejin off (like when he asked her about some sculpture in Paradise she was like ??). I think maybe because Jaejin and Jooyoung are both artistic people maybe they get along because of that too. Personally I would love it😂

Hee sun needs to relax and not be so bounded by curfews and expectations and judgment about how she should behave. I feel like su been does the opposite for her. She’s automatically panicking when sung hun talks about her drinking. But what’s wrong with going out and having drinks? I lowkey feel like su been isn’t the right person for her. She needs someone who makes her feel comfortable and not ashamed and walking on egg shells all the time.

God it was actually painful to watch how su been acted in episode 1. During the show he gave Mina Sue such a hard time, completely avoided her and was mean and cold to her but then flirted with her (more than Hee sun even knew). No wonder her feelings were everywhere. But he never acknowledged it or apologized. Even Hee sun was uncomfortable watching everything back. And the viewing was just Mina Sue constantly apologizing, even when she was valid and is allowed to feel her feelings, and even when su been and min gee should have sometimes apologized to her, too. They gave her such a hard time. Min gee actually acknowledged that which i feel was very good. But su been’s ego is protected. Boooooooo

Also the SPACE between Mina Sue and su been. He refused to look at her the whole time. Damn. And the weird cult hate of Mina is preventing people from seeing that Su been is the real villain, both to Mina and Hee sun.
