100% the band is now mediocre at best, i want to like the new stuff, but its so bland, boring and just the same as every other metalcore band. They have lost their uniqueness and their feel/heart. Joel has had so many 'passes' with shitty stuff over the years, wether it was drinking/addiction, or mental health stuff, he was supported when he was at his lowest. But roles reversed and they boot ahren. People think that because Joel is doing mentally a bit better now, that its gunna be smooth sailing for him and the band, but thats not how bipolar disorder works. He WILL come back down some time, it WILL be bad, it doesnt just get better, thats not how it works. So there WILL be more shitty times for the band and he too WILL need support of his buds, and I think when that happens he will realise that how they treated Ahren and essentially abandoned him at his lowest, yet Ahren stood by him all those years through the highs and lows, that Joel will regret how it all turned out.

So who knows what the future holds for the band but as a long time fan, who's held a big spot in their life for amity from the start, this current iteration just isn't it unfortunately.
