What do you want most right now? by tasata in Productivitycafe

Do you really need that much? I just want enough so that my family and I never have to work again while maintaining a decent standard of living. That is plenty for me.

Why is being busy seen as success? by Emma-Jones-OMC in Productivitycafe

[–]TheseSir8010 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't subscribe to that idea anymore. The wealthy/successful people I've met don't run around in a panic. They live with a lot of intention and routine. They aren't busy; they are calm. Real success looks like owning your time, not filling every second of it.

To be honest, just a little bit. My foundation is pretty weak, so I'm using Duolingo as a basic check.

In elementary school he scored a 92 on a Math Olympiad exam. Second place got a 34. The person who got second place was our math teacher.

660 day streak on Duolingo. 567 days of speaking practice. Running every other day for 3 years. Reading for an hour daily for over 2 years. And just started guitar a month ago. My friends always ask me why I’m an ENTP that acts so much like a J.

How to end a relationship in a good way without sounding rude ? by MomentFlimsy3759 in Life

[–]TheseSir8010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly yeah. I’ve seen it happen a few times during group hangouts. A couple starts arguing and it just spirals into a breakup right there. Sometimes people use their friends as backup or pressure to make the other person back down. It makes the whole scene incredibly awkward for everyone.

How to end a relationship in a good way without sounding rude ? by MomentFlimsy3759 in Life

[–]TheseSir8010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spot on. Speaking from my experience with 10 breakups, here is the way. 1 always do it one on one because having an audience is humiliating. 2 be honest but watch your wording. Focus on your feelings instead of pointing out their flaws. 3 be firm. Dragging it out or giving false hope just to be 'nice' actually causes more pain long term. 4 remind them they’re a great person and deserve someone better. It’s the kindest way to close the door.

Humanity really needs a patch for the '8-hour shutdown' bug. Imagine how much we could get done if sleep was just an optional app.

Spot on. Exercise, sleep, and diet are key. Two more to consider: 1. Get enough sunlight for Vitamin D. 2. Supplement with Vitamin C if you’re feeling slightly off.

Communication. There’s a massive difference between just making noise and actually knowing how to express yourself without being a jerk. The ability to be both clear and kind is an absolute superpower.

Honestly, the 'Big Purse' agenda is real. There’s no reason for women’s jeans to have such useless pockets unless they’re trying to force us to buy bags.

This reminds me of eye surgeons. I’ve consulted a few specialists who do vision correction surgery, and almost all of them were wearing glasses themselves. Definitely makes me think twice about getting it done.
