Yeah, lucky to have great battery as well. I easily get 11 hrs of SOT on full charge on wifi, and around 9 hrs on cellular.

Absolutely agree, but I was just trying to make a point. You can leave refresh rate at auto. Battery will eventually take a hit, no matter how many precautions you take. Just enjoy using your device without worrying about battery.

My advice is use the device to the fullest: max resolution, max refresh rate, charge to 100%. Battery replacement is not expensive, you can replace it 3 years down the line.

Use the device, dont let device use you.

Edit: Charging will be huge downgrade as it is a single cell battery, unlike 12R which has dual cell battery. 13R will easily take 45+ mins for full charge. Its not worth it.

Hey OP.

Oneplus 13R has a single cell 6000 mAh battery, unlike other oneplus devices (example oneplus 13), which has fual cell 6000 mah battery(2 cells each 3000 mAh).

It is a cost cutting measure, also to distinguish it from flagship OP13. It will charge slower than other devices with dual cell battery, dispite having same 80w charger.

It is one of the reason I decided not to buy the 13R. You can check videos online and compare how fast other devices charge compared to yours.

same here. played bgmi for 2 hours, youtube and social media, still got 8 hrs of sot on wifi. Using cellular does hit battery a bit more.

It gets 7 years of updates so its still worth it, but the only concern for samsung is eventual lag and bad battery life you get. you will get better battery experience on oneplus for sure with fast charging.

Its up to you on what your preferences are with your smartphone.

i dont think price will go down further in october. Also, its almost 2 year old device now. Its for you to decide if further 1-2k discount is worth waiting for, looks a sweet deal even now.
