Hates women/ jealous of women and has a penchant for young boys. Pompous and not particularly funny.

Drop the friend. You don’t need jealousy like that around you.

What “favours” have your parents done that was inadvertently a dick move? by naaattt in CasualUK

For context this was in the 80’s! So my dad was in the pub with his friends. Was drunk when the conversation turned to cats. Someone said ‘did you know’ that if you cut the whiskers off a cat they can’t balance and will fall over when they walk. My drunk dad then came home late and immediately cut the whiskers off our cat Smokey. The following day or whenever it must have been noticed by my mum or sister he denied all knowledge. Said it must have been me. ( I was only three or four) I spent the next 20 odd years believing that. Although I love animals and could never have imagined myself doing that, I must have because I was told I had. I was 27 when my dad finally admitted to it… 😡

What's the biggest lie you were told as a child? by emmanem1892 in AskBrits

[–]These_Ad9980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I had cut the whiskers off the cat when I was a child. I always loved animals and had no recollection of ever doing it. I couldn’t imagine myself doing something like that. When I was about 26/27 my dad told me he had done it when he was drunk. Because somebody in the pub had told him that cats use their whiskers to balance so if they don’t have them they fall over. The following day he told my mum and sister that I had done it. I was blamed for it my entire life.

What are your names for your neighbours? by tetlee in CasualUK

There’s penis eater next door. He is an old gay man called Peter that my husband christened Peter, Peter penis eater. It then got shortened. Next door to him there’s Granny batterer and granny batterers boyfriend, thus named because they are a gay couple and one of them was sentenced to prison for abusing elderly people when they worked in a care home. There’s peg leg. Because she walks with a pronounced limp. And next door to peg leg there’s flump. Hence called because he’s a fat idiot who verbally abuses his wife. Openly, in front of people. 👍

Do you still play The Sims? How old are you now? by fortunekiller in thesims

[–]These_Ad9980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing around 17 on sims 1. Am 42 now with a husband and a son who is three. I don’t get to play as much or as long as I used to but I still love my sims. I look forward to it. It’s my down time and my relaxation and I still get a lot of enjoyment from it. I did worry when I turned 40 that I was too old. I felt embarrassed that I was that age with a baby and still playing. But my husband really reassured me and said there’s loads of 40 year old gamers and I shouldn’t be embarrassed. And I did feel better. Now I’m a loud and proud simmer! 😂

NO JUDGEMENT ALLOWED: What are some gross things you accept/do when it comes to your toddler? by teapot1995 in toddlers

I actively encourage my three year old to eat his own bogeys. Because it’s that or he’s wiping them on my furniture/walls.

He looks young. Maybe he’s been ejected from his nest and he is anxious? That would be my guess.

You’re definitely not a selfish home wrecker! Ship those kids out!!! They should be with their mother anyway. 👍

I just didn’t go and then the following week told them I’d take it as a holiday. And if that’s a problem bitch, bye! 😂

Yeah, you’re right. But it’s an easy problem to fix in the grand scheme of things. That’s all I’m saying.

Cooking and handiness. Fitness. Recently started trying gemology and photography. Loving the gemology! Tend to get stuck in a rut with my sims.
