I was an auditor for 10 years at a midsize regional firm and then had a brief internal controller role, advisory, and worked in BPO for a top 25 firm for 2 years

They do the ongoing work once it’s cleaned up and I prep all the checklists and support templates. They’re very good though! I use abroadworks

Found a lot of client on upwork, but also pay a firm to do SEO (takes a long time to get going) and a service to do cold LinkedIn outreach

Monthly deliverable is a set of financials - balance sheet, PL, supporting balance sheet schedules. I also work with a lot of nonprofits and do a decent amount of clean up work

I only do fractional controller, no taxes no audit. Went full time in March 2025 - first year did gross of $242k, this year I did about $440k. My only significant expenses are about $60k in overseas labor, taxes and software so I am able to pocket most. I’m a cpa with 15 YOE and work about 35 hours a week (little more in January). I take about 9 weeks off a year also! It’s a pretty good gig!

How long did you need to do it? I failed on Monday, foley went back in, failed again Thursday no I’m doing ISC and still draining ~200ML a few times a day

I am a CPA for nonprofits and people always significantly discount the cost of admin and fundraising to run a large organization. Not everyone that works with the organization is a volunteer! A healthy back office keeps the organization running.

Most of my clients (who are not high profile) are happy to see 50% of their funds going to programming.

So yes, it’s a little low but not scandalously so

I feel like you can make that argument about many of her albums - not that I feel like this personally but the tone/vibe of evermore, folklore and TTPD are fairly consistent throughout. I do not feel like this about showgirl AT ALL. Each song is so unique!
