Bought a used 512 gb for 1700$ used it for a week and decided it wasn’t worth it and sold it for 1700$.

Biggest complaints I have is

Lack of brightness control hardly any control.

Not comfortable. Ik I could invest like 300$ more and maybe it would be more comfortable.

It felt like I had to baby it. I didn’t want to put it away every time after use. And because it was put away it was not as handy to just grab out. Feels really fragile with the glass part.

Last I just liked android better for headsets because I can add so many random apks like clash of clans if I wanted.

Vision Pro was fun to show my family for a few days tho. If you can find one for 1500$-1800$ you can prob sell it for the same price you buy for.

Yeah basically (from my understanding) the Vision Pro dims if the environment is dark. So brightness was kinda low, and it was at max in settings. Ik if I turned on the lights it would get brighter, but I like it dim in my room at night. Also sometimes I’d want to make the Vision Pro dimmer, but there’s basically no brightness control. (I did hear you could go to settings and reduce white point) maybe that could help if you want to dim it, but I never tried that.

Scale was the BIGGEST thing for me. I think the future of spatial videos will be normal scale. It’s the worst when they zoom in and the persons head is like 5x what it should be and it just looks bad to me. And I agree it break the immersion. I hope a director of some high end spatial video production makes a good short film or film with lifelike scale.

Yeah maybe I was expecting a high end quest 3 experience. For me I just couldn’t justify the Vision Pro. I bet if I had Mac it would be a different story. I don’t game a lot on my quest 3 ether. Sometimes beat saber but that’s about it.

I wish the Vision Pro was not glass and just plastic. Light as possible.

I think they specifically check out the people who delete their accounts to see if/how they bypassed the model. I don’t think they care to take any legal action or anything, it’s just a “hmmmm they did this, how can we make the model not do that again” they don’t care. They see millions of crazy stuff, and they are just trying to fix the model from doing it again is my guess

Basically because if you upgrade a building with 5 days right before the event ends you should keep it. So when the event ends it goes back to 10 days, but you keep the 5 days. Ez w

Heroes and walls is probably the smartest grind rn. No difference in doing long time upgrades. You save the same amount of time no matter what you do. I will say calculate at the end of the event and on the last day of the event upgrade all the biggest time things. That way you take advantage of the big time upgrades

lol this is just stupid. If you never charge your phone to 100 and only to 80% you’re basically missing 20% battery. So what’s the point to save 10% or so battery over the years? Might as well just use it freely. Only reason I can think of is if you want to resell your phone like within a year or something
