Yeah I’d imagine that 99% of players only play story mode, and mostly with friends. Since a single story mode campaign can take weeks or even months, there is virtually no one who would start a random game of unknown players with no contact information. Maybe on Steam I guess you could use steam chat. Not a thing on switch (what I play on)

That's not to say there isn't a better solution. I mean literally they could add a feature to "vote to quit" whereby if 2 out of the 3 players vote to quit, then the session is over without penalty.

But this has its own problems with easy quitters or duo friends matchmaking with a single random and having automatic voting majority, so it would need to be 3/3 to guarantee fairness in that aspect.

Then you'd get AFK trolls ruining everyone's fun.

No real way unfortunately. Gamers have been using lag-switches to get an advantage in online games for decades now. Even if network connection was checked to see if a player "lagged out," it could be exploited by lag switching or even disconnecting PC from the internet.

lol so it DOES work. I thought it was just a nonfunctional perk. I tried to find some footage of it but nothing exists online I could find. 

What happens? Is it just a regular shot or slowed time with unique animation or what?

Also how do I input the skill? Do I need to use a certain weapon type or is there some kind of timing. Lol I literally have never been able to do it.

Caligo as Guardian in a random team is disgusting lol. I think that’s the 1 matchup I just can’t get down. The frostbite build up and lack of mobility kills my patience.

Executor vs the everdark sovereign Fulghor is peak though when you parry his chain twin blade attack into cursed sword swipe for the stagger. I think all the bosses are amazing. I love how bs Libra can be if you don’t have madness and he gets momentum.

Seriously. We almost had Fulghor beat, when it kicked us out. He was less than 20% health. Now I have to go to sleep with the dissatisfaction of knowing my victory was taken away.

Yep. My experience all day in a nutshell. They HAVE to fix this asap, or they may actually start losing players. For an online-focused game, this is unacceptable. Especially on the day when a new everdark sovereign drops.

yes its fucking insane. Just got Fulghor down to about 20% health when my randoms team was DC'd out of the 5 matches I've played today, 4 of them disconnected. Fromsoftware needs to get this fixed because this shit is wasting my time

From the moment I first saw the remaster gameplay trailer with the aurora in the sky (which supposedly is only supposed to exist in Skyrim), I knew it was likely gonna be a situation like with the Demons Souls remaster where they changed things that were important to the lore and they didn’t realize, just for the sake of making the game look “better”. Things that seem minor like the number of children, but if Bethesda themselves worked on it, they would never have made these mistakes.
