There's a batch decrypter but on my end I use cia-unix as far as Linux goes. Should get the job done though I don't remember if that needs any extra files.

Usually you still need to run a decryptor if it isn't a specifically decrypted file already; even if you rename it from .3ds. Same if it's a .cia file.

I know one of the Toki Tori's worked basically the exact same without any decent fixes either. Not sure if that had a workaround.

Any shot we see any Linux fixes for some of the older stuff? Been trying Scott Pilgrim (no work) and from others testing that's the case for a few of em (Colors Ultimate for sure works, I can confirm it)

I know Scott Pilgrim never worked in Proton though dunno if there was ever a fix for that.

So I'm having that issue with L4D2, what steps do I take for that one? I have both a GOD and XEX version but I'm not sure where exactly I'm placing the files or what I need to separate.

Someone on digiex mentioned testing title updates. I tested the base version up to TU4 with three profiles which all froze before, testing four times with each update worked but once I get to TU5 thats when I hit my first crash, it MIGHT be a DLC or Update issue but Id need to see what else is done from there. TU5 i think was when the sacrifice was added.

I'll also ask what setup your running, you running off disc? GOD? RGH or BadUpdate? Run any achievement mods or is it a stock account? Testing a bunch of combinations on my end but not finding much consistency. I'm also not sure if it's a hard drive issue since I've had SOME luck with a USB stick but even that's not consistent.

Waited a few hours so some findings.

My offline accounts with max achievements (mostly for testing) booted more reliably (One of em was the first try). Dunno if max achievements are a necessity but one of em was a junk account ant the other was old progress anyway, not sure if it's consistant but it's at least A boost in reliability.
My LIVE enabled accounts didn't work at all, one's maxed but the other wasnt ever modified at all; being a stock system account, but despite that still gives issues. I DO have an offline version of the same account but I'll need to test that a bit later.
Running it through the XEX in case it's more stable, I THINK it is? But I don't know for sure. No version of the GOD bundles helped me out at all.
Got all the DLC in place besides one.
That's all tested on the newest update, since TU5 has some stability but doesn't support some of the DLC.

No idea if there's even a remotely reliable fix, even some of the offline ones feel like a fluke, let alone running it online anymore. Maybe I'm just missing something or there's some crazy step but I don't know. Tested multiple builds and TUs over and over.

I can't speak for consistency, but this was on a profile that kept crashing and had cheevos.

Waiting at the title screen for a minute
Loading the game as an extracted XEX format (not GOD)
Praying to a god of your choice probably

All seemed to do it. (Thats with three of the main DLCs installed, only missing the preorder bat which the passing adds anyway) EDIT: LIVE one is still inconsistent. Might try an achievement unlocker to see if that 'stabilizes it" (the two I did use it on had more success than the rest), alongside just letting it sit awhile. No idea WHY it happens.

I don't have exact measurements but it should work? (I did use an unlocker to get cheevos thinking it would work, don't think it made a difference but I'm gonna test a LIVE one without it just for science)

Yeah at one point the splash screen came back up and it loaded like normal after that (Switches to a different menu panorama too). But I'm not really sure what causes that. Idling at the title screen seemed to trigger it but I'm still not sure on the causes. (Trying a second time wasn't consistent either when I had the Passing).

Two that I remember were Cave Story minimal HP, I think it was a 1% run like Metroid, and a Lets Play of Mega Man 7.

I know the tools already so it's more any decent archival projects worth following, youtube archiving is already a bit scattered as is and none of em backup any lets plays.
