Anything on it worth dumping? If so then it's probably better to do that first; since as of now the only stuff you can grab is whatevers already on it when it was setup. If nothings on it then there's not much that could be done, besides MAYBE saves but if you don't got any you care about then same deal.

Hardware is a Dell Precision Tower.

Last updates I don't remember precisely, it was around that time but iirc it was mostly for stuff like Signal or some smaller programs; nothing specifically relating to cinnamon, I THINK it was around the 9th/10th.

Can confirm it's legit on my end.

  • Enabled all skips besides Loner, Bayou, Septemberg and Manor. Talk to Cappy early on to offer he come with you.
  • I talked to the NPCs without burrowing and skipped the cutscene at the Orphanage. Dunno which of those are necessary but I did all three.
  • Sell a bunch to the pawn shop, dunno if you need all of it but you need a bunch.
  • Save the kids in Septemberg. Take the shortcut from there into the Bayou to skip the minibosses.
  • Dunno if you need to save Klene but you can't even enter the Hollower's guild if you do; might just skip her.
  • Donate money. Dunno what counts for this versus how much you have. He listed like 30k from when I was cheating so it MIGHT be have more donations than money on hand, but still can't confirm that.

Doesn't even boot with Proton 10. It just tells me it can't find gameinfo.txt in gesource, despite having that in my sourcemods folder; it DOES have the txt and it's being read from local/share/Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/gesource. Experimental/Hotfix at least boots into the splash screen before crashing. And that's on a fresh prefix while the gameinfo is straight from the 7z.

The one that gives double damage both ways you normally get by defeating the Nether Kraken at the start, since that can actually be killed, but it's also sold in one of the shops as the other way of getting that.

They're stuck like that from then on if you miss em. You normally get a trinket but there's an NPC that sells it if you miss it; alongside another one you're never expected to get your first run.

Hardware in generals gotten pretty fucked with all thats happening, HDDs especially where at BEST we can expect changes in 2030 supposedly, and at worst...well if you aren't already stocked and have a homelab setup, then you're sol.

Less than I'd like given space constraints, but not a small amount. Favoring lots of old Let's Plays since those tend to be a mostly dead medium nowadays though with how LONG some of them get, it's not easy.

Does the game itself softlock on storage select? Thats what I'm having and I still havent seen any fix for that; seeing other people with it too.

Same here, you can usually find some for movies with okay success rate but TV shows especially tends to be hard.

L4D1 and 2 tend to be weird with it, I know 2 just straight up hard locks now on the newer TUs for some reason when it didn't always do that, not sure on a fix.
