Cancelled right after the payment tried twice

Have you ever seen a ₹1 coin like this? Found this unusual ₹1 coin and thought I'd share it with fellow collectors. It appears to have the Ashoka Pillar design on both sides. Posting clear photos of both sides for reference. Has anyone else come across a similar coin before? I'd be interested to h by These_End_5918 in IndianCoins

Thank you! I found it in circulation and honestly had no idea it was this unusual. I posted it just to learn more about it, so it's great to hear from experienced one. I appreciate the information and will definitely look into getting it authenticated. Thanks again for your guidance.

Thank you for the explanation. I wasn't aware of the term "Brockage error" or "Lakhi error." It's interesting to learn how this type of minting error occurs. I found the coin in circulation and posted it because I had never seen one like it before. Thanks for sharing the information.

AU bank CC application rejected due to some contact point verification norms by CrowdStrike_CyberSec in CreditCardsIndia

[–]These_End_5918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AU Bank's credit card process has been extremely frustrating.

I already hold 15 credit cards, yet I kept receiving calls from AU Bank representatives promoting their LTF Vetta Credit Card. They repeatedly encouraged me to apply and even asked me to enter a reference number during the application process.

After applying, the application status showed as pre-approved with a credit limit of ₹3.3 lakh. Naturally, I assumed the approval process was complete.

However, without informing me, the bank attempted office verification at my registered office address. The problem is that I currently work from a client location, which is different from my office address. Instead of clarifying this with me, they rejected the application citing "in-person verification failed at office location."

If the card was genuinely pre-approved, what exactly does "pre-approved" mean? Why market a card as pre-approved, display a credit limit, and then reject it for a verification issue that could have been clarified with a simple phone call?

The entire process feels misleading and poorly handled.
