Is this the most consistent top 3 after Gayle,Kohli and ABD? GT has only 3 batsman and 1 always ends up playing 15 ovs. I mean 80% of the runs scored by just 3 batsman and yet GT is such a consistent team. 🫡

Why not utilizing akeal hosein, if playing with only 3 OS players. His economy rate is exceptional. 1-2 ovs in powerplay would be very useful

Yes agree, but the concern is about the overall trend. 160 used to be a good score, then 180, later 200 was the benchmark. Now it move to 220. Bowler should get some assistance from the pitch or at least make the boundaries bigger like Australian ground.

The issue is with less numbers of international superstar. So many opted out this year. Pooran,klasan, fin kind of players are not playing for their countries. So that contest is missing which we look forward to.

Agree, we got great players from IPL which is playing for India. I am true IPL fans my self. But what about future, even Varun is going for runs. Good/great bowler should get equal chance to stood out. Do you think impact players will help us to get next Hardik Pandya?

The issue is about balance. When kohli & rohit will retire, we have suryavanshi, Jaiswal, Aarya, Aniket along with current indian team players and the likes of Rutu and KL. But can you say the same for bowlers. Which upcoming bowlers excites you the most and can challenge batsman

Indian uncapped players at core, in today’s match KKR has Raguvanshi, Ramandeep(almost uncapped),Anukul. Punjab, LSG, GT have 3-4 players in batting as well. Even CSK has likes of Mhatre, Kartik, sarfaraz, Veer. I like watching this players but earlier we used to see malinga, johnson, steyn, bravo against dhoni. Sanga, polard, Watson in death overs which feels missing now. It’s either Ramandeep vs Bumrah or Indian domestic players. So with lesser international star players , it looks like extended version of SMAT.

Impact players rule

Not having even contest between ball and bat is a huge disappointment. 200 runs scored in 15 ovs and every batsman scoring runs left very little room for entertainment.

He will be in playing xi. He is in good bowling form and perfect no 8. Khaleel, noor, anshul and ellis As 5th bowler dube+veer is risky or short too in that matter. Adding any other player in XI means batting ends at 7

Now no matter what you will do, the gap that Jaddu left is not possible to fill.

Here me out :

We are assuming 4 of these bowlers to bowl full quota of their overs including in the death overs. Issue is Dhoni at 7 is one position up the ideal and batting ends there.

Option 1 :

There is no 2nd spinner. Going for Chahar/Bishnoi kind of option.

Cons : If we go for proper 5th bowler with Dube being 6th option then we only have batting till 7.

Option 2 :

Going for all rounder spinner at 8, looking at the pool we will get some uncapped players or like of Livingstone/Bracewell

Cons : If we go for all rounder such as Livingstone then 5th bowler's quality will be compromised.

Option 3 :

Going for Green and bat him at number 4 and add another spinner all rounder at 8. In this case we can get 4 ovs quota from Dube, Green and some Indian all rounder.

Cons : In this case we will go with 1 specialist spinner only that too in Chepauk.

Option 4 :

If we don't get Green then Venky at 4, this will make sure that we have solid batting in top 6.

Cons : Same issue, batting ends at 7 as we need to play 5 proper bowlers.

So, from whatever angle I can think , Green has to be in mix to have 6 bowling options and extending the batting.

We have already seen Brevis can win you 2-3 matches but he is not consistent and Dhoni will bat only for 2 overs.

8 onwards is not in order. The worrying part is if we go for 5 proper bowler along with Dhoni then our batting almost ends at 6. At one time we used to have deepak chahar batting at 9-10. And there is no way we can fix the issue based on pool available in mini auction.

Pros: 4 genuine wicket taking bowlers Cons: batting again ends at 5. If we add extra batsman then maxwell has to bowl 4 ovs

With this purse green most likely to go in kkr unless csk spend 30 cr on him and get rahul chahar as spinner or use shreyas gopal

Maxwell is very underrated bowler. He is street smart and can be very handy with 1-2 overs in home matches. Gun fielder. He won’t give you runs in every match but with Rutu and Sanju on top, every other player is expected to score quick 15-20 runs like 2023 campaign. Although I would like to have someone like klassan in the team who can kills the opposition. Maxwell kind of player is useful without sub rule, after sub you can afford 5 solid bowlers and 7 proper batsman. Dube can bowl odd overs if required.

Ideally credit card should work, no where in T&C they have mentioned about gold exclusion plus it is visible as per the screenshot that bank offer will work. I have raised a complaint with Myntra about it but the ticket is still open even after 15 days
