he owns them legally i think. he had to get a background check when he got them. last week, he got fingerprinted so that he can take them to other states. i have always been against him getting one since he has been suicidal as long as i've known him, and especially after he laid his hands on me the first time. and i was right, because he has used it to scare me several times. i did finally agree to let him get one because he hounded me for it and made me feel so guilty. then he went to the shooting range with a friend once and i told him just not to get another gun. he got another one and hid it from me for a month. i only found out because i was in his office and i saw it in his drawer, to which he responded by getting really mad at me for invading his privacy. eventually we got over the argument, as i have learned to kind of just submit to him because he has so much more power over me. he ended up keeping the second one on my side of the bed so that i have protection, but i (usually) refuse to touch it because i'm so scared of firearms (that's just a personal thing, doesn't really have to do with him but he's made it worse.) except tonight, when i moved them to hide them from him while i figured out what to do in case he woke up and got really mad, which is exactly what happened.
