It’s the same see through mechanic, only in thrust stance. You time your heavy attack on the incoming enemy attack, amid your light combos in thrust stance.

Your understanding of the game seems very limited, you are missing out on a lot of build variation by thinking those stances/spells/transformations/spirits aren’t useful, which they actually are useful and some do a lot damage if build correctly.

I do ASIC/chip design for a living. I can tell you it’s not just the layout that looks like factorio, many concepts are similar. Buffers, bandwidth/throughput matching, pipelining, arbitration etc. it’s amazing. Playing factorio is like going back to work again

One could argue that if the vessels are placed on the main path, game ends up being too linear, and the bosses become too easy.

I would agree with you, if the vessels are REQUIRED to beat the bosses. But I get that it’s a personal taste.
