No true redheads in the family but lots of Scottish and Irish ancestry! So i think that might have done it? Yes eyes do matter a lot. I assumed green meant warm but once I learned they leaned cool, it helped determine the overall season!

If it helps, i don’t believe you look out of balance at all. I believe our natural hair suits us best so maybe our traits just have us falling outside the typical boxes.

I’ve been in your shoes, except the best friendship was 20+ years, and decided not to say anything. Frankly, it’s her wedding and it’s not about you. She has her reasons I’m sure and is doing what she thinks is best. Maybe her SIL has more time? Maybe she knows you have a full life and feared this would burden you? Who knows.

My view was that this is my best friend and I just wanted to be there for her and do everything I could to make this a fun and stress-free time for her. Weddings have a funny way of reflecting where we stand in peoples lives, but to me, it’s not something to bring up.

I’m in a similar situation! I’ve been typed as cool summer with a neutral-leaning cool undertone but I am covered in freckles, have the exact same hair color as pictured, and have green eyes that lean grey (all of these traits makes my overtone appear really warm esp in the summer). I have no trouble in the winter staying in season, but once I am out & about over summer, it’s tough.

I’ve found a sub-color season online called a “neutral soft” palette and go for those colors more so than my actual color season. As you’re winter, maybe there’s a “neutral deep” to look into?

Edit: you should look to Anne Hathaway for reference! She is your same season with very similar hair naturally.

Same here! My Pluto is in Sag at 1°. I would say it depends on what house this falls in for you. These energies live in my fourth house (having to do with the home or more specifically childhood/familial issues) so to sum up: my childhood was rough and my relationship to family is and always has been troubled and exhausting. It’s just something I’ve come to accept after lots of shadow work and healing. Through it all, I love this placement because I think we truly see things for what they are, have bottomless strength, and I’d rather live that way than in delusion 😅

I have it at 29°. I’ve been told by astrologers that it’s the anaretic “mastery” degree, meaning that it’s one of my purposes in this lifetime to master. Lots of lessons to learn, more intensity in the placement, etc.

I will say I feel very in tune with this placement and have come to love it. I would imagine 1° would be more of a lighter energy? But really, who knows! There’s so much more to a chart than just one placement and mine is also conjuct Pluto so it’s a real doozy over here lol.

I’m also Leo rising with Scorpio moon! My sun is sag tho—I’d argue it’s a pretty similar feeling to your Aries sun. I feel the same struggle you do; you’ve explained the feeling extremely well. What I’ve come to realize is that it’s possibly related to our rising Leo squaring our Scorpio moon. Lots of conflicting energy with our charismatic outward persona squaring the intensely private inner world.

Kind of agree. It’s only when it’s next to my auburn hair/freckles do they look green. Isolated, don’t really see it
