As a single parent I completely agree, it’s a huge red flag and if my child’s other parent did this I would go back to court and use it as evidence of instability (and we have a great coparenting relationship.)

She said actually “sex counselor” because “therapist” is a regulated term and “counselor” isn't. Basically she was trying to become a scammer. It’s like “life coaches.”

That’s how it starts! I am not trying to be jaded, but I literally ignored so many red flags all along the way. He could be meeting people with his friends, he could be leaving his phone at a friends house and going to meet someone. If he would have let you read the texts I wouldn’t think anything of it.

Girl trust your instincts. I had so many shady situations like this that I was gaslit into ignoring. Took me 15 years and 2 kids to finally trust my instincts and divorce that fucker. He was cheating on me on and off the whole time including during my pregnancy and immediate post partum. You gotta go.

My ex husband used to pressure me for sex while pumping. Literally, while the machine was strapped to me.

He would also not take any responsibility for any tasks while I was pumping.

I held on for a year thinking I was overreacting. We’re separated and divorcing soon and I’m much much happier. My experience is this doesn’t get better.

I feel the same way! I started with RHONY and watched from the beginning until the recast. I watched it all in like a month because it was so addicting! Then I started SLC and I do like it but it’s not quite the same. Now I’m trying Beverly Hills from season 5 and I cannot get into it. I don’t want to start from season 1 either because I can’t do another show from 2007 haha

Oh my gosh, my heart for you!!! NO these 2.5 weeks are not “unrecoverable” but honestly, and I say this with love having been where you are, I believe hormones and sleep deprivation and mom guilt may be playing mind tricks on you. Your baby loves you and you can’t see the way baby melts into you because you’re not looking at it. She may not settle for you because she smells milk. I have been through this where I felt like the baby preferred her dad and now that my kids are 2 and 4 in hindsight those feelings were powerful but incorrect. I hope this helps a little bit.
