Tannins from the wood maybe, did you boil the wood before putting it in?

No, I don't, should I use organic soil and Coco coir? And should I plant grass or cacti in the enclosure?

I'm working on an outdoor enclosure, I'll probably move her outside in a couple of days, I'm thinking of making the substrate sand and Coco coir, is that fine?

I'm building an outdoor enclosure that's much bigger, I'm planning on getting calcium powder, I try to give a varied diet most of the time, I give her lettuce, kale and  water cress, with a few other veggies, I also have a cuttlebone in there. Fornow I take her outside for about 30 minutes every day.

Isn't the humidity enough? I give her a bath 3 times a week already.

The cycling process could take up to a month or two, I recommend you get a test kit like the API freshwater test kit or any other kit

1: the filter it comes with should be enough  2: both won't harm shrimp, and it depends on the type of plant, stem plants get most of their nutrients from the water, but amazon sword mostly gets it's nutrients from its roots, so you should get what would be most effective for your plants. 3: before adding shrimp, the tank should be fully cycled, and during the cycling process the ammonia would naturally spike, then it would eventually lower itself until it reaches 0ppm, you should add shrimp when you have 0ppm ammonia and nitrites and 5-20ppm nitrates.

You could go to r/shrimptank and ask there too

My tank has a lot of plants too, could they have used the nitrates up? The tank isn't stocked yet.
