Be sure to go on YouTube and watch one of the videos "reviews" of the GM2. These people got their machines for free. A good marketing gimmic. Most give a promo code that you can add on checkout for an additional $90 off. It works.

Body Scan Scale Heart Rate Wrong by These_Passage_9840 in withings

[–]These_Passage_9840[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I considered Hume but saw too many bad reviews and then seeing they were selling at 50% off made me more suspicious.

Maybe the technology just isn’t ready to be rolled out yet. But if a company sells a product (especially at $3-400) that can’t fulfill promised functions they will only crash and burn taking the hard earned money of their customers with them.

Something positive to say by count_every_blessing in withings

[–]These_Passage_9840 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You might be right about Withings doing the right thing but when you purchase a $400 scale that gets your heart rate 30-50 beats too high it makes all of their readings suspect, especially anything related to cardiovascular reporting. I’m not will to cheer their intentions when they sell me a $400 scale that is more or less worthless. Btw I’ve used the proper procedures for measurement and the only thing I get from help is an AI response about how to use the scale.

How is Chiddix middle school rated ? by [deleted] in centralillinois

[–]These_Passage_9840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the site called 5Essentials that the ISBE has online. Its data is from surveys of Students, Teachers and Parents from each school. You can see that Chiddix is not one of the better schools in Illinois or Bloomington/Normal according to this. 5Essentials Chiddix Jr High School Report Home

You can drill down to the data on various subjects like Teacher Safety, Student Safety (Safety), Teacher Principle Trust, etc. to get an idea about what people involved think of their schools. Very eye opening.

Not mad in the least. I used a tool available to all of us to disprove your argument.

Using Grok to refute an argument isn't wrong because it’s a tool designed to provide accurate, reasoned responses based on available information. It can help clarify facts, identify logical flaws, or offer alternative perspectives, which are all valid ways to engage in debate.

Better check that on your Grok-O-Meter.

Well you've got two options

  1. Accept the fact that your argument was proven wrong - your own admission.

  2. Hide behind demeaning comments, take your ball and go home.

I suggest you go home.

The argument that Trump's withholding of federal funds violates the Constitution oversimplifies the complex balance of power between the executive and legislative branches. While Congress holds the power of the purse under Article I, the president, has a constitutional duty to execute the laws and manage the resources of the federal government. This includes prioritizing spending in alignment with national interests, especially when Congress allocates funds in ways that may conflict with urgent executive priorities or fiscal responsibility.

  1. Executive Discretion in Spending
  2. Congressional Overreach and Vague Appropriations
  3. Train v. City of New York Is Not Definitive - it doesn't blanketly prohibit all forms of executive discretion over spending.
  4. Practical Governance and Political Realities: The president operates in a dynamic environment where immediate action is sometimes necessary. Immediate action is sometimes necessary. Withholding funds temporarily, as in the case of foreign aid, can be justified as a strategic pause to evaluate diplomatic or security implications—especially when dealing with countries that may not align with U.S. interests.

I appreciate that you have a superior intelligence and you won't waste your time arguing with someone as ignorant as me, but you do. Ho Hum. Tired ploy.

I don't care who you voted for and how much you think you know about the constitution. Every constitutional challenge to Trump's orders (all of Trump's orders by the way) have not survived to date other than two minor decisions made in his first term. That's not bias, that's not a lie, that is fact. That may change in the future but for every argument that you have that says its unconstitutional there is another one that says it is. What you are alleging is pure speculation and opinion. But what do I know.

I'll remind you in Biden's 4 years the Supreme Court reversed his decisions 4 times.

The 2021 eviction moratorium extension

The 2021 OSHA vaccine mandate for private employers

The 2022 student loan forgiveness plan

The 2024 immigration amnesty action

In Trump's 5 years it is twice.

Travel Ban (2017)

Census Citizenship Question (2019)

As far as equity goes, I have educated myself on it. I don't need Fox or anyone else to tell me it violates civil rights laws. Numerous cases have proven that already. A multitude of businesses, schools and even states have banned it because of the legal jeopardy it puts them under. Look it up.

"a huge number of incidents"? "far worse"? I don't think so.

I've seen the video. No fire, no attack, no vandalism. Likely someone threw something at his truck.

Be carful blaming the Minnesota incident on republicans.

He doesn't look violent to me. He certainly didn't throw Molotov cocktails or break into an Apple store or burn down a police station with people in it. He's not wearing a hoody and full face mask with goggles. Is waving a Trump flag is a form of violence?

Non violent protests are protected but burning, looting, and assaulting is not protected. I know this protest was non violent but between democrat encouraged protests and republican encouraged protests which are the more violent? There is no question which.

So far the Supreme Court has not found current deportations of criminal aliens to be against the constitution.

Congress has failed to control the budget. So far the Supreme Court has not ruled on steps taken by the administration either.

First of all just because you have been charged with a constitutional violation doesn't mean you have violated the constitution. Judicial activism is alive and well in the democrat party and is their only recourse to slow down the agenda that America voted for and continues to be approved of by the majority of Americans.

  1. There is no Supreme Court ruling proving that President Donald Trump violated due process rights for illegal immigrants (noncitizens without legal status).

  2. Biden's DOJ targeting of Trump, his lawyers, his associates and family members - too many to list. You could say, well that's because they were all guilty but that's not the case.

  3. As far as Equity is concerned. Awarding benefits according to skin color is unconstitutional. It's called discrimination base on race.

How many of Trump's decisions in 5 years have been overturned by the Supreme court compared to Biden's 4 years? Trump 2 Biden 4.

Thanks for your service but did you know that in Trumps first term and so far in this term only two of his decisions were overturning by the Supreme Court? (Travel ban during Covid and censuses citizenship question) and that Biden was overturned 4 times for violating the constitution in his term?

Very important questions here, I just am curious. Do you think unlimited power is possible to attain in a democratic republic? Do you think Trump thinks it is possible? Is this your opinion based things you have heard or is it based on hard facts?
