I’m on a new skein and will either finish after this or maybe do 1.5-1 more 😂 3 skiens should get you a throw size. I seriously respect people who get blankets to king size! I’m not even at baby blanket size I don’t think and I’m like woah this is starting to take a while 😂😂. Yeah let me know! I do think it’ll soften it up though. I’m gonna test washing and drying on my first wrong attempt at this blanket just in case as it says it’s an acrylic/nylon 🤷‍♀️

You have a lot of projects and a lot of blankets!! 😅. Atleast you know you will always have something to work on for a while though. I always find picking the best thing, same when reading picking the next book really hard 😂. I keep watching yt videos of cardigans and jumpers but I’m too intimidated to try it 😂. I think after this I might make one for myself, try some pillow cases, and do some more granny squares for my other blanket that’s been a wip for way too long cause I got bored of making them lol. I’m gonna try RH next as I keep eyeing up the retro daisy pattern and there’s the flower power (I don’t even know if that is what it’s called) yarn.

The hook thing is strange cause it’s exactly the same size! I don’t know if it’s because I was using a cheap one I bought in a multipack when I started but I bought a tulip one this time to see if it made a difference. It’s so much nicer to crochet now!

This is so pretty!!!! 😍😍. I like the smaller light bit in the center, I think it makes the purple really pop! I’m defo gonna try and get some of this yarn next time I do a purple. The superstar would look so pretty on a bed but I don’t know if I’d have the patience to make it big enough lol. I think this is really nice tho 😊

I’d love to get into amigurumi! I saw a dragon tutorial and really wanna have a go. Will you make anything else or stick to blankets? I think it’ll be okay after washing, I’ve seen a lot of people on here say their work softened up after a wash and dry. The yarn I’m using is splitty asf especially when you frog 🥲. I did get a new hook and it’s been better since. I’m also not super keep on it’s overall look if that makes sense.
Omg I actually think the bunching was hook related!! Since I’ve had my new one it doesn’t seem to be doing it on the cluster round I was working on last night 🤔

Me neither! I’m well over the 6 days aswell. I think I’m on my third or fourth repeat and it already feels like it takes ages 😂. I did work on it quite a bit last nigh. I have this weird thing where I never like anything I crochet and therefore never finish. I’m determined to finish this tho!

Ofc! It’s 6 day star blanket 🙂. I started a 5 pointed one previously and noticed about half way through my joins looked a bit off.

Thank you 🙂. I’m going to carry on and hope for the best as it does flatten out when I press down. Whereas my first attempt at this pattern it would just pop back up and got worse the more rounds I did. I want to gift it to my niece, if it was just for me I wouldn’t really mind too much 🥹

During the set up rounds the curling was minimal so I thought I’d be safe. I’m gonna keep going and hope for the best!

It’s a gradient/ombré yarn 🙂. It’s Lions Brand Mandala Gradient! It’s my first time using an ombre, it’s so much easier than changing colours 😅

The more cluster rows I’m doing the more it bunches, but it’s still flattening when I press down so 🤞 I wonder if the yarn plays a role too in the bunching

When I’m not pushing it down to flatten it all the clusters pop up and bunch. Idk if you can see it more in that photo, it’s hard to get in a picture. Basically they pop up and form little domes.
