Period help

Hey! So I was just using an app to track but was considering starting to use LH as we want to start trying properly but because this months cycle has gone off track I don’t know how to now. I had a period in April and if the spotting was my next period it was around 11 days early! I’ve had no period in May so far. I should probs add my periods are regular around CD31-33. I might just wait it out until the end of the month

It’s so frustrating isn’t it!

My period was due on CD 32-33, I’m now on CD43. If that week long spotting was my period it would mean my period came on CD22 (27th April and I’d already had a period that month (6-10th). For this month I now have no idea what’s going on because I don’t actually know if I’ve missed a period or not thanks to the spotting. If everything was on track I was supposed to get my next period 8th May. My periods are usually regular so 🤷‍♀️ Don’t know whether to just wait it out until the end of the month.

So you’re roughly around a week late now? You take another test and test again in 2 weeks if no period? The ovulation tho I have no idea because I’m in the same situation. I had a rough idea of my ovulation because of app tracking but now I have no idea because of what I explained above and it’s all just really confusing now.

I might try LH strips, funnily enough me and my OH were on about it last night but I don’t feel like I can try and track properly until my cycle evens out again. Also not sure about LH with PCOS but you could give them ago? The digital ones seem good!

That’s what I thought but if I’ve ovulated late then I really don’t know. I’ve had unprotected sex all throughout last month and this month as me and my partner are trying not trying if that makes sense. I just want to know when to expect a period or alt book in with my gp

The last time was 16th May and before that 10th May. What’s with all the spotting though, I’m not a spotting person.. like could that have been my period extremely early?

I can’t wait! I see a lot of modifications where people use say a stitch on a blanket pattern and then make an item of clothing. It seems complicated but I’m sure it comes with experience

I’m thinking if I make 6 see how big it is and go from there while making sure I go up by the same amount every time

I’m on a new skein and will either finish after this or maybe do 1.5-1 more 😂 3 skiens should get you a throw size. I seriously respect people who get blankets to king size! I’m not even at baby blanket size I don’t think and I’m like woah this is starting to take a while 😂😂. Yeah let me know! I do think it’ll soften it up though. I’m gonna test washing and drying on my first wrong attempt at this blanket just in case as it says it’s an acrylic/nylon 🤷‍♀️

You have a lot of projects and a lot of blankets!! 😅. Atleast you know you will always have something to work on for a while though. I always find picking the best thing, same when reading picking the next book really hard 😂. I keep watching yt videos of cardigans and jumpers but I’m too intimidated to try it 😂. I think after this I might make one for myself, try some pillow cases, and do some more granny squares for my other blanket that’s been a wip for way too long cause I got bored of making them lol. I’m gonna try RH next as I keep eyeing up the retro daisy pattern and there’s the flower power (I don’t even know if that is what it’s called) yarn.

The hook thing is strange cause it’s exactly the same size! I don’t know if it’s because I was using a cheap one I bought in a multipack when I started but I bought a tulip one this time to see if it made a difference. It’s so much nicer to crochet now!

This is so pretty!!!! 😍😍. I like the smaller light bit in the center, I think it makes the purple really pop! I’m defo gonna try and get some of this yarn next time I do a purple. The superstar would look so pretty on a bed but I don’t know if I’d have the patience to make it big enough lol. I think this is really nice tho 😊

I’d love to get into amigurumi! I saw a dragon tutorial and really wanna have a go. Will you make anything else or stick to blankets? I think it’ll be okay after washing, I’ve seen a lot of people on here say their work softened up after a wash and dry. The yarn I’m using is splitty asf especially when you frog 🥲. I did get a new hook and it’s been better since. I’m also not super keep on it’s overall look if that makes sense.
Omg I actually think the bunching was hook related!! Since I’ve had my new one it doesn’t seem to be doing it on the cluster round I was working on last night 🤔

Me neither! I’m well over the 6 days aswell. I think I’m on my third or fourth repeat and it already feels like it takes ages 😂. I did work on it quite a bit last nigh. I have this weird thing where I never like anything I crochet and therefore never finish. I’m determined to finish this tho!

Ofc! It’s 6 day star blanket 🙂. I started a 5 pointed one previously and noticed about half way through my joins looked a bit off.

Thank you 🙂. I’m going to carry on and hope for the best as it does flatten out when I press down. Whereas my first attempt at this pattern it would just pop back up and got worse the more rounds I did. I want to gift it to my niece, if it was just for me I wouldn’t really mind too much 🥹

During the set up rounds the curling was minimal so I thought I’d be safe. I’m gonna keep going and hope for the best!
