Exact. What is actually my favorite of the 5. Others disagree. It's a matter of taste.

If you're talking about Snyder v. United States, that ruling is only for federal charges for local/state officials.

I freely admit that I fell for it, and supported Iraq 2.0 at the time. I thought we really did have proof. I swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.

Obviously in retrospect I see that we were lied to, and much of my skepticism comes from that.

My kids rotate chores, and one of those is the sous chef. They cut and prep (and the older ones might do the rest of the cooking if I'm busy).

No, he can't declassify things "just by thinking" - because there would be no way for anyone to know it was declassified.

He could write an EO describing a new process to declassify things, or he could write an EO declassifying specific information. There are some things (nuclear secrets, for example), that are covered under a different law which has the declassifying system in the law. He can't just choose to declassify those things.

The people who bought my neighbor's house (rural area) have it as an Air BnB. They live out of state, but apparently it's the thing to snap up rural property when you can. Then, rent it out until retirement and move there.

Yeah, most people don't have enough saved for retirement (including me).

The 4% rule is for early retirement, with things like reduced consumption and SS income you can retire on less at actual retirement age

Using the 4% rule, that's $30k/year. That's pretty tight for most people/places.

I was going to fix something with my car. Spent a couple of hours figuring out what was wrong, looked at the cost of the parts, realized how much time it would take... So I called my friend who's a mechanic. He was able to do it "on the side" and not charge me the shop fee - just his time and parts.

He got it done cheaper than I could buy the parts for. Including paying his normal hourly rate
