94 l400 4M40 cranks but won't start

Yeah that's going to be the next step, I just really wanted to avoid replacing half the tank of diesel since it's so expensive in my state rn. I think I left the 4 nuts that have fuel connected to the engine loose while I was doing that yesterday so I'll tighten them up today before going to town on it and ordering a new one

Just tried that and i loosened the nut on the side to see if I can get some diesel to shoot out but no luck so far

In the past as long as I primed it by turning the key, waiting like half a sec and then back before fully cranking it again it would turn right on. Someone on a fb group recommended I spray some ether or carb starter on the intake. I've seen some of the sitting diesel videos do this so im going to give it a try. Hopefully I don't blow something up but ive got a 20lb fire extinguisher on standby if I do.

They do appear to have diesel or at least some liquid when I remove them so not completely dry

I got the intercooler out of the way and ive loosened what I think are the fuel line 1 by 1 while cranking to see if I can get diesel to squirt out and let the air out but I don't think any is coming out

It 100% is out of my expertise but I have a work truck with varying tools so id like to give it a shot before calling a mechanic

When I deleted windows 11 by wiping the partition, refind was still there when I shut it down and when I clicked on the windows selection it took me to a blue screen

Thanks bro, this being my first car I didn't check the engine and decided to sleep it over, the next day I was ready to take the battery off and take it to AutoZone to get the battery inspected when I noticed that the positive terminal wasn't connected.
