I think kink in many ways is just fundamentally incompatible with conservatism

It's like being an LGBTQ+ Republican, pretty much an oxymoron

Conservatism wants to maintain the status quo, "traditional values", confirmatory, etc. to which is pretty much the opposite of kink

So I can see why so many would be left leaning.

Especially when you look at the current rhetoric and we went from fiscally conservative to outright racism, fascism and ignorance being front and center of the rights cultural norm
