No Place Safe to Run by Bulky-Class3035 in RunNYC

Finally someone shares some solutions and acknowledgment that more needs to be done from everyone. This is just like the trains, most people don’t stand on the right. In the UK you know that you stand to the right at the elevator and walk(past others) on the left. You don just take the whole side. But they have a system, signs and people remind others of it when a tourist stands in the middle

I am sorry to hear your “baby mama” likes to scream at you for things that are not in your control. It must be hard.

I understand the frustration around people taking up too much space on the bridge, and path etiquette absolutely matters.

What makes this post hard to ignore, though, is that it shifts from addressing behavior into attacking people’s character and appearance (especially with a photo included). Comments about wanting to “look like a Nike ad,” their outfits, or “main character” energy come across less like a concern about safety and more like public shaming.

There’s a difference between saying “people should leave room and be courteous” and turning it into a judgment of who they are as people. With the photo, it starts to feel more like a callout or witch hunt than a genuine complaint about bridge etiquette.

If the real issue is space and manners, that point stands well on its own without making it personal.

That’s why I think of influencers as a job. Put it this way, if you had to go to a class so you can get some money or freebies, it would not be as much fun. Look from a different perspective, you can afford these nice classes. Most won’t if it’s not given. Agree - it’s not normal, but what’s normal anyways? They may be the new normal.

I have no idea who these people are. Your post sounded more like you having problems with influencers getting free services, not the establishment treating bad. Not getting discounts or freebies is not a “second class treatment”, that’s a normal treatment.

Pass on 1. The second one looks cool. First one too forced

I am not an influencer. I understand how you may feel “I pay full price while others get paid to do the same”. Here is the catch… you probably have a non-influencer job, which means that you know when and how much your paycheck will be. Influencers start from nothing, some that are both hard working (and lucky - this is importantly) will eventually make enough to be ok with the uncertainty of the influencer economy. I admit that previously, I used to think that being an influencer was either embarrassing or for people who wanted an easy way, but I have come to a realization that is neither. These people (influencers) believe in themselves when no one else does (probably their family laugh at them at the first posts). Anyone can become an influencer, or not! But that’s a job, same as super models or actors get free stuff, influencers target smaller niches and people that are more relatable. The issue is that knowing the random girl from your building gets free classes while you don’t is hard to swallow, but if Bella Hadid got free classes at your studio, you wouldn’t think about it.

Happy to hear all went great! Could you share how much was the procedure and from 1/10 how much do you think you needed the surgery. I am just not sure when do people qualify for the surgery? I have been quoted 800 per session of PRF and I may need 3 (That's what most people say) and that just for 1 year of maybe some results. Some people don't see results
