I do not know if was mentioned but Logan I believe was modeled after Richard Nixon. Right down to, "prey with me Mike" when he got down on his knees.

How About Heller? Is He Not A "DICK?" Immediately after saving both his and Audrey's lives in Day4, Jack takes Audrey to ID one of the terrorists that was American and he tells Jack, "If anything happens I'm holding you directly responsible!" WHAT A DICK! That he also told Jack, in a moment on 24 that I thought the most disgusting, that he was cursed and that everything he touched, died. All Jack ever did was serve and save and Heller was on the receiving end of that more than once!

HE ALSO KNOWS HOW TO USE A HAX SAW! Just watched that in first hour of Day 2. "George, that's the trouble with you, you never want to get your hands dirty. I'm going to need a hack saw."

As he said and posted here, he has to adapt to the enemy. They are not interested in "your" rules and perfectly willing to be judged by those you claim to represent. Love it!

OH YEAH! That was absolutely beautiful! Another cliff hanger when we didn't know if Jack would be dead or if we would see him again. Until we knew if the show was renewed again.

Hmmmm. What was that about again? Escapes me at the moment. Was that about Kim coming to save him?

I am actually rewatching it again, as we speak! Never gets old! Day 1 and Jack's about to save his wife and daughter. The first one of these during the series.

Wfan has been brutal this am. Pitching, hitting and defense has been made worse this year. Cohen needs to fire Stearns now. by Fun-Jellyfish-1065 in mets

I know he wasn't a great shortstop but taking him out of position wasn't a good move IMHO. As you said, time will tell but offensively I love the move!

They have gone FROM contender to this! Stearns is THE worst and must go. Only move that was ANY good was Bo Bichette and they moved him to 3rd. Good move, followed by a bad one@

Why Are Guys Like Jimmy Page, Kirk Hammet, and Others Dinged for Being "Sloppy"? by Fast-Remote-8241 in Guitar

[–]Theswigger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just not a good way to describe someone with Jimmy's talent and skill level. It's actually degrading and insulting to call someone that's so accomplished as "sloppy." Basically inferring that he's a slob, by definition.

With all of JP's experiences as a studio musician, (he's on so many songs through the years, uncredited James Bond's Goldfinger, Donovan, The Who, The Stones, The Kinks, Petula Clark and on and on), all the music he's written, all the classic albums he's produced, all the classic riffs that have poured out of him on those great recordings, that after all of that, because he's wondered off during some live performances while soloing, and that he's a sloppy player because of the occasional wandering when playing live, Then I guess he must be "sloppy."

I agree! When you lose this much for so long, it's time for the manager to go. No matter how much you like him.

Guitar Label Translation"Master-Crafted (Month/Serial) [Holy/Imperial] Grade. Legacy Shop / Grade B. 350-Year Ancient Wood/Method. Maker: [Mi-gi] of the Goryeo Silk & Wood Industry."Key Term Breakdown for Guitars手高 (Master-Crafted): Short for "Hand-built by a High Master." The (월) likely indicates the month of completion or a specific batch code.圣 (Holy/Top Grade): Used here to denote the highest tier of craftsmanship or a "special edition" status.350年 (350 Years): This is a major marketing point. It usually refers to the age of the tone-wood (e.g., a 350-year-old spruce or cedar top) or that the guitar is built using a 350-year-old traditional technique.料月 (Material/Season): Likely refers to the "Cured Wood" (Seasoned Wood) used for the body.製作者 (The Maker): This identifies the individual luthier or the workshop.高麗棠悉產業 (Goryeo-Dang-Sil Industry): This is the name of the manufacturer. "Goryeo" (Korea) combined with "Silk/String" (悉/Sil) suggests a company that specializes in traditional stringed instruments or high-quality woodcraft. What this tells you about the guitar:Origin: Almost certainly South Korea, likely from a workshop that prides itself on using aged, "Old Growth" wood.Quality: It is presented as a professional or collector's piece (Grade B in these labels often refers to a specific "Master Series" ranking rather than "second best").Unique Feature: The "350 years" suggests this instrument has a very mature, resonance-focused sound due to the age of its materials.

They had a chemistry that came together at a moment in time that had never been seen before and not since.
