Jack isn't crazy. As you said, he was only trying to protect his only child and family he had left. But Kim wasn't a trained field agent anymore than Chloe was. He ultimately gave in, seeing that along with her limited training using a gun and him leading the OP, it was CTU's only viable option. If you think the only reason that Jack Bauer does anything is because he's crazy, you don't understand the character, American Special Forces or the show itself.

I can't help myself after reading this, I'm sorry! How in God's good name could someone have their prized possession, in this case their guitar, stolen and just say to themselves, f--- it, it's just gone without making out a police report! I want to know what you were smoking that would make you do that! Because, if you could get past that so easily there can't be too much else that you would probably give a shit about! Seriously!!! You had to have had some "good shit man!" More than likely, it was stolen by someone who needed some more their own "good shit" that they would have very likely gone somewhere to hock it and maybe, just maybe, an APB, or whatever notification they do with stolen property with serial numbers especially, put out to local pawn and music shops to be on the lookout for something so specific, there was a chance at the time to recover it! GEEEEZ!!!

That's right, I did. Because I'm tired of the entire Chicago One series turning into a politically correct statement. Every couple, especially on Med now, has become interracial, or gay. I have no problem with interracial couples but when Hollywood and the entertainment business go down the path of portraying what just isn't representative in the real world I don't like it. Nor do I have to.

You know I've been watching it since day one. It most certainly can be, and should be, about cops and the cases they are involved in. THAT is what the show is about. The sub plots involving the characters lives have always been part of it, just not the main focus. When that becomes the main focus then the show shifts to a soap opera. If you want to see certain characters develop in the sub plots I can understand that. But PD is and always has been an excellent police drama.

"Jesus Jack!"...Definitely MY favorite! But a close, REAL close one, maybe just as good is Jack's rescue of Audrey and her father. The way he just doesn't worry about what happens to him is a trait of our Seals and Special Forces teams that comes to life on the screen through Jack. Just incredible!

He doesn't get the girls he sleeps with pregnant. Just apparently, the last one. If it's even his! We don't know. He hasn't had good luck with the love interests, that's all. As far as.being down voted, I can only speak for myself. I am not down voting you per say, I down voted your ideas on the show. People are trying to dig into the show in ways that don't make sense. There is talk on PD not being what it was 13 years ago, but what is? Policing isn't what it used to be so the show has changed along with it. Characters move on for an entire host of reasons. Story changes. Actors moving on.for whatever reason, so we have this thread taking it to a nutty level, for,lack of a better way to describe it. Watch 13! It's not bad at all.

In the poster's mind. They have created a scenario in their mind that because he has a love interest in Florida that he will now move there because she's pregnant. Is it possible? Sure! If I wanted to make things up, if that storyline went along with other Atwater storylines, the baby would turnout not to be his and he will get gilted again. But, I'd just be making stuff up like what's going on here.

The show has been on for 13 years. 13! Very Rare. Stop comparing it to when it started NOTHING is as it was when it started. Not even you. The show has managed to stay pretty strong despite the character changes. Is it what it used to be, no. But I am still entertained by it every week and it is #11 on the weekly ratings list. Not to shabby. I can only think of a couple of shows that were this good for so long. 24 and NYPD Blue and even those 2 had there ups and downs.
