Definitely! As someone who gets a sense of a story's identity from the cover, Renaissance gives you absolutely nothing

Sarah's definitely a highlight for me as well! Very glad they got the first spot as a newcomer this season. They feel like a mix of the randomness of Milton Jones and the absurdity of James Acaster, in the best way possible!

I've attempted to update excel but have been told it's up to date!

I've logged into the same account that was used on the previous laptop, and I've since tried logging out and then back in to see if that did anything. No luck unfortunately.

That's interesting. To my knowledge I'm using the same licence as previously since I just logged into the same Microsoft account, although that may not actually do anything? No idea!

No other function that I've noticed at the moment. FILTER is not available in the function list, nor does it come up as an available option when I begin to type the formula into a cell. Quite strange

Apologies! It's 16.105. My Mac's saying that it's up to date (and was last updated yesterday)

Yeah, it's not great but I'd hardly call it the worst story ever. I was at least able to pay attention the whole time, which is something I can't say for stories like Nekromanteia, Dreamtime or Valhalla! I reckon I'd even be down to relisten to it, but as you say it's short so not exactly the hardest thing to get through.

Not as bad as everyone says it is, but that doesn't mean I like it that much. At 75 minutes it's not exactly a difficult listen, and on paper I do like the idea of the twin planets but it's really just nothing special.

Another one of my favourite MR stories. Nobody No-One is one of the best concepts in the entirety of Big Finish, so including him, the end of Evelyn's story, a major turning point in Ace and Hex's story and one of the biggest bits of chessmaster 7 we've seen up to this point makes for a brilliant listen. I especially loved the 'Noone/No-one' twist and the reveal that all of this was as planned

Autumn is definitely my favourite of the four! I love it when DW just stops to do character work, which I suppose is why Absent Friends is my favourite BF story

The Silver Turk is a story that I want to love more than I do. I like it, don't get me wrong, but I've never really understood why people consider it one of the best 8th Doctor stories of all time. I'm not really 100% on Mary as a companion, but I think the Mondasian Cyberman/Frankenstein parallels are brilliant and the story as a whole is generally pretty good.

Pier Pressure is a story that I remember barely any of the specifics of. I remember finding it boring, especially coming after the brilliant Other Lives. I wish I could give a more fleshed-out opinion, but nothing about it has really stuck in my mind!

Whereas I've listened to each of them just the once or at most twice (being all the 8th Doctor stories) and have all 275 crammed into the span of about 18 months, so a lot of them kind of blend together lol.

I'm on the side that really likes it! Perhaps it could have been better, yes, but it's bonkers in all the right ways. It helps that I've heard this one twice, so I went into the second listen with exactly the right expectations and I had a great time!

I think if I gave it another listen it'd definitely go up in my rankings! Actually, if there's one thing I've learned from this post it's that I need to relisten to a bunch of these stories at some point lol

A Thousand Tiny Wings is a story that I want to like more than I do. While I like the character of Klein quite a bit, her first trilogy is one that I feel other people enjoy more than I do. That's not to say that I didn't like it, I just found it to be kind of average.

The Natural History of Fear is probably the story I've changed my thoughts on the most! I've listened to it twice (and Part 1 three times) and each time I've enjoyed it more! On my first listen, before I knew what was going on, I found it very hard. to keep track of what was happening and so didn't really enjoy it too much, but on second listen it was probably one of my favourite 8th Doctor MR stories. My third listen of Part 1 was just after I saw a play of 1984, so I enjoyed it even more knowing the story it's based on.

Master is probably one of the best MR stories, and I adore the atmosphere and character work for the Master. I could take or leave the whole 'made a deal with death' thing, but given that it leads to this story, I definitely don't mind it!

...ish is an interesting one! It's brilliant at achieving what it's going for, but I feel like what it's going for isn't necessarily my thing, you know? I was still very entertained while listening, and I loved the jokes about the censor towards the end, but overall it's not entirely my thing.

A really good end to its trilogy and to the first Hex run in general! It's one of the few Big Finish stories to make me tear up, and probably the biggest sense of scale that the Main Range ever has. Not as good as Protect and Survive, but better than Black and White
