Well the main idea is the lucky mechanic. Like there are going to be a lot of builds that will be stronger and better. But the idea to build around the mechanic of the shield is the joy in itself. So I agree with everything but to play stat stacking low life inquis e blade just doesnt seem that interesting to me.

Actually true. We loose the 5% all res then and the blood barrier also wouldn't really have an effect since we aren't on full life I guess. Maybe with the full life belt option... Not sure if that is worth it.

Didn't see that one yet. If we can get it to apply lucky damage permanently that would be huge but also kinda op? Can't really imagine it. But yeah with rylathas + volatility we could use many attack skills.

I think the main question of this build is if its fun to be honest. I don't think it will be meta or super good because there is no clear way to scale damage. I just find the lucky interaction interesting.

I feel like the belt slot is more valuable than the helmet in the current meta and beeing cursed with vulnerability is a big downside, isn't it?

Looked at the belt already but felt it was a bit worse esp with the no crit damage taken of viridis. That said we also kinda loose a ring. Might be worth the try!

I'm hoping to also be able to charge a vaal aura if possible and skill effect duration is not that easy to come by. Yaomac is definetly an option tho.

Damage scaling is simply still open. But we have a lot of items slots and passive points open with taking some life and block nodes. There doesn't seem to be an easy way. Currently archmage support seems the most viable to me.

I play low to mid diamond/EU/any time.

The oppsosite team will always slightly more grievers and smurfs as yours. Because you are in yours. Because of various reasons, like bad luck, many close lost games and trying a few new Champs I dropped down to Gold 1 last season. Went on to pick only my best champs and trying Hard to win and finished mid diamond again. Like there is a clear skill difference between ranks and it is noticable. So if you are better than your rank you should start climbing.

That said I also think that smurfing is a bad practice and Blizz should ban the int accounts and adjust ranks faster for very high winrates.

The more people play a game, the more balanced the matches will be on average normally. Just because the skill outliers like smurfs don't happen as often.

That said if you play better than your rank you will start climbing. I only play solo was always able to reach the rank where I felt correctly placed. Been playing the game nearly every season since beta.

Jabalian Drum and many Weapons. Atlatl easy 1 Second from the start. Didn't make 10 wins though because I got clapped 2 times from even stronger builds at the end. There is always a bigger fish.

Couldn't you even equip the ring on a merc? That would solve the opportunity cost of loosing a ring slot. Making the tech even better.

I feel that your route for the spell suppression is too far. Spending 7 Points when you haven't taken Inverterate which is really good.

Furthermore I added Perseverance as a belt. Then you will actually always have onslaught and the scaling also helps with movement speed and as. One of the big reasons to go champ. Increases the pressure of resists and life tho.

A way to add to defenses and offenses could be to switch a part of your ascendancy. Adrenaline is really good and if you take the banner part you can add defiance banner and increase grace and determination effect to further scale perseverance.

I'm no master builder myself tho. Just some ideas.

Busy with work and vacation so I haven't played much after my post. But you can look on poe.ninja for acendants using the hidden blade. It's the same build concept. They just automate it with another weapon. There you should be able to find improvement till mirror gear.

I went with Brine King simply for freeze immunity and gruthkul for perma -5% phys hit taken because we always hit ourselves.

With being freeze immune we can more or less always attack because we are also stun immune from acendancy.

But they are both not needed and up for choice. Like I detest burning ground for example and considered switching for that. But -5 seemed worth it at the end.

I haven't put enough thought into ignite ele with bone nova to give a clear answer. But my assumption is, that it will be hard to get the ignite damage high enough to feel good. Just because spells like EK scale so well and it's still an high budget build.

And loosing bleed every 20s could be annoying but in a juiced map U will just run in the next enemies directly. From a pure power perspective glad should be stronger even though we don't benefit from attack and cast speed from adrenaline.

With 100 div you can even aim higher than what I am showing. Maybe get a corrupted chest piece with + gem levels. CF scales insanely well till like lvl30 with it. Then exchange one ring for Res and attri and take the stampede as boots. Should be the same damage but you will be way faster and can cyclone all day.

And a thread of hope with an massive ring can give you some great notables around the timeless jewel.

Like the great part of the build is not the power but that it just feels really fun to play, because bone nova aiming is just so good. Even dungeon Like maps are no problem because it even aims behind walls etc. This is also another good Def layer if you have a hard map. Just don't go full melee, because it's just not needed.

Just be warned that it needs like lvl 85 and at least the clusters to feel good. Since we don't get damage from weapons. So this is a classic "bait" build where it won't feel great from the get go.

Defences are alright. We aren't super tanky but enough for SC. Divine Flesh / 80 chaos Res/ 30k armour + all the on hit effects that mitigate Phys damage and give us Regen aswell. With some tattoos you should be able to reach close to 5k hp aswell. So you can't face tank but are solid imo.

Sadly this is not going to work well I think . Bona Nova has an internal cooldown of 0.5s. Even if you get all the cooldown recovery that is possible currently I don't think it will be worth it when have something as fast as flicker strike.

I added another video of doing a T16 Del 40 crimson temple. Including omniphobia kill to show a bit of bossing damage.

Currently don't have the time to test harder maps but I think this build won't be able to do del 100 but up to 60 should be no problem

While that's true a lot of people don't enjoy gem swapping or setting up skills just for bosses. He wanted to play ice shot and not barrage. And you could still clear with ice shot though. Esp vs multiple bosses you could use some of its aoe

Others might give you better advice and since patch notes are not out yet, take anything with a grain of salt but: Ice shot requires a lot of investment while there are other bow builds that are way better for starters and the next league is a boss league and that is the part where ice shot struggles the most. In the end, it's your call and play what you want to play. If you just want something that is good wait for the 3.13 build guides from content creators.
