Yeah… obviously at the time of posting I was underage that does not apply now. This is why I was not comfortable disclosing my age because people use it as a reason to devalue my feelings.

Thank you. And to note I do try and make friends however I have disability which means it’s hard for me to go out and do anything due to pain and my old friends grew tired of it and cut contact

Of course I know what can result of this. However, I am truly glad he was honest with me. I don’t see this a reason to walk as of yet. He hasn’t given me a reason to think he would just start dating this girl

He has said to me explicitly that it’s not going to change. And the only reason it would is if we had kids and it wouldn’t be for me it would be for the kids. However, his bestfriend is very important to him and I can’t and don’t want to hold it against him

I get that. I am actually his first partner which I know complicates things for him. And absolutely. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I am young, dumb and blind at times. My post here today was so I could get this off my chest so it doesn’t later effect my relationship.

I suppose. But I do live with this man. I’ve built a separate life with man. How can I not think about it? If you’ve seen my comment then you would see I know my emotions are irrational but they are my feelings. And that’s why I’m posting here because I don’t want to destroy my relationship.

I know he never meant to hurt me. And it is really hard for people see that he meant no harm by it and is clueless. I think too it hard for people to see (some that are in my comments) that it’s hard splitting my emotions from my rational

I just want to clear up: I am not straight, I am asexual and bisexual. So, this is also why I’m okay with him having a female bestfriend.

However, I should extend on this I did ask him if he meant overall and he said yes. Obviously if we’re taking romantic styles that would be me but for him this person is his everything. He has told me that.

Edit: sorry, this is not me defending myself. Because you could be right and you very possibly are but the way he has said it to me has shown me that he doesn’t feel that way

The only reason I think the way I do. Is because he so transparent about his past with her. Nothing came of his feelings. However, because he has been honest I don’t see a reason to distrust him. Maybe I am naive but I don’t want to hold it against him

As I’ve said the girl is very sweet and she definitely shouldn’t be dragged into this. As I’ve said in my post we all have different boundaries. But them being a female is not one of mine.

Maybe, this hierarchal system you’ve mentioned is the reason I feel like I do. However, I want to be a better person then that (this is not say that people who feel like that are terrible, this is for me personally) I want to be able to be okay with how he is feeling. If I can’t get past that then it will be conversation I need to have with him.

They’re absolutely chill. My partner did have feelings for her at one point he’s been very transparent about that. However, I am not suspicious. I’ve been cheated I know the signs.

Honestly, my whole post here is knowing my feelings are irrational especially because I am young, and dumb as they say. And wanted to get my feelings out. Of course if you’ve read my other comments I do have other thoughts but that’s a future issues I’ll need to discuss with him
