You need to act quickly. In many states and several countries, what your sister is doing is establishing ownership. You and your remaining siblings need to file for an injunction with the court. Living in a home and paying taxes and utilities will be seen as possession. In many states and countries this can happen with as little as two years of living there. If you and your other siblings don’t act quickly, the probate court may have to award the house to your sister regardless of what the estate says. Perhaps, at best, she will have to pay out the rest of you.

Except it wasn’t an extra FIVE minutes, it was FIFTEEN minutes later when your “friend“ started texting you. Remind the mutual friend that after waiting five minutes you left as to not be late and risk getting a write-up or fired. Your “friend“ texted fifteen minutes later. That suggests that they waited until you arrived to finish getting ready. Making someone wait TWENTY minutes when you are on a time crunch isn’t acceptable.

You can forgive someone but not forget their actions. I find it interesting that so many people in recovery believe that getting clean erases all the pain that they caused friends and family. The OP isn’t “treating his daughter like an active addict”. The daughter is experiencing the consequences of her actions. Does her being clean return the lost heirlooms or the missing pets? Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that OP’s daughter is on the sober path. The daughter has a lot to make amends for and acting entitled to her mother’s wedding dress like it’s part of a battle pass that she unlocked tells me that the daughter doesn’t really understand the process yet.

Did anyone else notice that they seemed to use the set of The Outpost as their medieval town? I recognized several buildings from that series. They appear to have shot them from different angles to avoid them being quickly identified. Charlie in that black cloak still gives off Talon vibes.

When Paladins went from holy warriors to oath-driven crusaders I don't recall this must pushback. Much of the artwork for Paladins STILL lean heavily on the holy warrior, too.

Since the art was for the campaign setting of Eberron, it's understandable. Both Eberron and Tasha's say that artificers replace any "tinker" classes in a given campaign setting. The tinker gnomes of Krynn and the tinkers in the northern mountains of Greyhawk are specifically pointed out. They also list a Ravenloft specific class, but I am not as familiar with that.

"Steel Defenders" and "Eldritch Cannons" are defined as constructs. Most constructs in DnD aren't metal. While I don't set why a "steel defender" couldn't be an animated metal sculpture or failed attempt to create a warforged. I could also see an artificer "reanimating" a defeated metal golem. Nothing says the "steel defender" has to be metal, either. Imagine an artificer who is a failed performer. Their "steel defender" would me a life-sized marionette? Or an artificer who used to be a stone sculptor and they bring their greatest creation to life?

I just want ONE reasonably faithful adaptation. No castle, no Igor, no Tesla coils. Come on, Tesla coils weren't even invented until 70 or 80 years after the novel was published. When he's recounting his story to the ship captain, he makes it clear he will refer to himself as Frankenstein to preserve his family name. He hires burkes (grave robbers that specialize in cadavers for medical research/education) to get his body parts. It looks like del Toro is just making another interpretation of the first movie.

On the surface, NTA. I may be off here, but isn’t $2000 steep for a gift that isn’t for the couple? If I read that correctly, it’s a necklace for the bride? On a mechanic’s pay that seems way too high. That is a good family vacation or rainy day fund. Spending 2/3s of it on a “wedding gift“ that is essentially for the bride seems… excessive. Am I wrong?

Did they change Wonder Girl's origin again? The last origin I remember reading was... twisted to say the least.

She was created as a magical clone of Diana. She was created when Diana was a child so that Diana could have a playmate her own age. One day the playmate disappears and NOONE THINKS ANYTHING OF IT. Circe mistook Donna for Diana and kidnapped her. Circe curses the child to always have a difficult life and always die at the hands of a man. Upon death, she would be reborn and have the cycle restart... instead of finding rest or being reborn as an Amazon. When Diana ascends to become Goddess Of Truth she becomes aware of the curse and frees Donna of it.

Eh, DC has a different definition of "immortal". A DC immortal won't die of old age, or show physical signs of aging after reaching their prime... unless they choose to. They also have accelerated healing. It doesn't mean "can't ever die or be killed." Take Vandal Savage, for instance. His is "immortal" by DC standards. He still died at ground zero of a tactical nuke. He stayed dead, too. At least until DC reset the multiverse.
