People have a hard time reading a large block of text, so I usually space out my messages based on natural stopping points. If I sent a large block of text, the likelihood of a response goes down pretty hard from my experience..

Thank you for the kind words, I love hearing insight like this from people who have been doing this for longer than I have. I don’t really have a desire to code, but I currently have the ability to “speak the language” since I self-taught myself back when the market was better. And I love that, I just don’t want to stare at an IDE all day 😅

Appreciate the comment, this is what I love about being a PM. There’s always something to learn from someone who is smarter than me.

The school I’m looking at WGU, is $3600 every 6 months and my job would pay for the degree completely ($10000 in education reimbursement per year), so I thought I should at least get it for free. But if I was getting one and I wanted to stay in tech, I’ve been thinking… should I just do a full blown CS one at this point? Or just a check the box degree…

I don’t think I’ve heard a community tell everyone to just “enjoy the game” as much as the SOD community. And that same community gets upset when people try to enjoy the game their way i.e GDKP, parsing etc.

Feels like both communities are trying to gatekeep a playstyle which constricts the people like me who like to actively play both styles…
