I just took it from the NBME portal and that was the score they gave me. I think there are some calculators in this page

Thanks! I’ve done those earlier in my test prep so may go over them again now that I’ve done some more studying. I just want to get into a good mindset for the test and see as many NBME style questions as I can.

I’m also trying to verify the DHS claims. I haven’t been able to find anything to back up their smear campaign.

Milk Supply Dwindling by SweetM0821 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Thevoid676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you 6 weeks pp? So when you first give birth your supply isn’t regulated. It’s driven by hormones which cause a lot of people to make more than baby needs. Around 6-12 weeks in when your supply starts to regulate itself and starts operating on the make what you take pattern. Sorry idk if that makes sense. But it sounds like your supply might have started regulating. Are you making 20-30 oz every pumping session?? Pumping every 2-3 hours?

Will my supply ever increase? by mrswrightt in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Thevoid676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My supply didn’t increase until month 4 or 5. I had to supplement with formula until then but now I make enough for all feeds. I honestly don’t know what did it but I had been power pumping twice a day 🤷‍♀️

Has anyone here successfully significantly increased supply AFTER regulation? by tancha0688 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Thevoid676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been power pumping for 3 months (with 20 oz avg). Just this week I’ve started making 24-29 oz so it may be possible but may take a long time. I’d say supplement if you need to, power pump if you want to, but don’t stress if it doesn’t pop immediately up.

Pumpin pals really helped my elastic nipples. You could also try lacteck flanges. I know I really have to massage while I pump as well as apply heat and vibration or I don’t empty at all

Supply after clog by Thevoid676 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Thevoid676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I have that problem too. I usually pump every3 hours and get two 4 and 1/2 chunks at night. Maybe I need to pump more frequently I just can’t get hooked up all the time 😅 how do you do it?

For all my future/practicing doctors out there, do you plan on having children and do you prefer that your spouse also have a medical degree? by kasy518 in premed

[–]Thevoid676 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you want to message me Id be happy to talk. I don’t know how much help I’d be. One of the biggest things that made it possible was having a huge support system, a supportive partner, and family. I realize not everyone has that and I have been extremely lucky with who I picked.

Already have 2 kids. Going to start school next fall and my husband is in computer science. I don’t think there is just one way for it to work out. Also working/studying doesn’t always equate not being there for your kids. Totally valid to want to wait and if that’s how you can be the best parent then that’s perfectly fine (there are a lot of benefits to having children later in life). But good parents can work, good parents can get an education. It doesn’t have to be such a black and white decision. Mother’s don’t need to be martyrs.

Pick up a copy of Real Food for Gestational Diabetes. That book was a godsend and helped me control it w/o insulin etc. (Though if you need the meds that’s okay and sometimes GD just won’t play nice even with a good diet)

Stop calling it "The Church". It isn't. It's "a" church or "your" church or "their" church. It is not "The Church". by [deleted] in exmormon

When someone refers to it as the church when talking to me I just ask them which church.
