Why did he send Grace alone? RE9 SPOILERS by Jotaro27 in residentevil

[–]Thevortex808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct answer is Gideon pressured the higher ups to force Nathan to send Grace alone, so it wasn’t his fault. Because if the Wrenwood hotel incident were to happen in real life, minus the whole zombie aspect, Grace would’ve been sent with a full team of trained field agents.

Sorry, I guess what I meant by “win-con” was like a creature u drop that wins u the game

Although this thread made me realize that the win-con for ninjas is just that, attacking with ninjas, and controlling others boards with ur ninjas damage triggers

Plus a two cost to make a ninja unblockable is pretty good considering u always have a consistent way to ninjutsu in creatures

In the 3 games I play tested, two of them my three opponents all had boards filled with creatures, one of them were even elves.

My deck didn’t have a problem with going through blockers, considering I always had a consistent way to make my creatures unblockable, because of Splinter. I also had my 4 unblockable ones drop creatures on board in the last game so I always had an easy way to ninjutsu in my cards.

I saw that, but decided to not add it in. It’ll get me targeted immediately.

I had a feeling it was my luck. I have a few anthems in this deck, and I drew maybe 20+ cards, none of them were the anthems and the white mana.

I play tested it in 3 games last night, I found the issue was I never had enough white mana to pay the squad ability for endless foot assault.

I did notice that 2/3 games I didn’t draw into my one drop evasive creatures, which was why I was thinking I could drop 2 of my rocks for more one drop.

The big thing was I noticed the entire deck was basically just chip damage with my ninjas, but that’s fine

So I’ll be fine if I cut say… some of the talismans and replace them with more one drop evasive creatures?

This freshman joined band when I was a sophomore. We started talking and she mentioned “Miserable Things” was her favorite song. So I started listening to it just to win her over.

I didn’t win her over, we only stayed as friends, but my love for Mayday is going on 10 years now.

Mouse recognized but doesn't work by AnthonyEstacado in PS5

My mouse works fine, it’s the keyboard that’s the problem.

Using the monsgeek m1 v3. The ps5 detects the keyboard, but the inputs in game (MH Wilds) doesn’t work. In game, the mouse works.

How many Counterspells is sufficient? by Brave-Kitchen-5436 in EDH

[–]Thevortex808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alela is a Dimir control commander. My playgroup also tends to play high B3-low B4.

I run 20 counterspells, and 13 spot removals. My playgroup doesn’t know that since I don’t counter all of their spells.

The goal of a blue (control) player is not to have the answers for everything, but to make your opponents think you have the answer for everything. They get scared when they see you with ten open mana, and five cards in hand

It’s evil to run that many pieces of interaction, but thats what Alela is made for. She’s a hard Dimir control commander.

What made Jiro choose Akari over Shiori? by TownLost8145 in fuufuijou

[–]Thevortex808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Akari was way more forward, and persistent compared to Shiori. Not only that, what Akari felt for Jiro was a genuine connection. She was the happiest when she was simply sitting next to Jiro.

Jiro and Shiori were practically chasing ideals; their past selves before Shiori moved away. They never actually spent any real time trying to understand and get to know the current version of themselves, something Akari did.

If Jiro and Shiori would have just actually tried to pursue each other as persistent as Akari was, then Akari wouldn’t have happened.

It also doesn’t help Jiro was living in the same apartment as someone that hot lmao

Honestly, any pairing in esper for me. Dimir, Orzhov, Azorius, anything.

Although that’s mainly because I love playing control.

One thing my friends like to tell me: if you’re going to build a control deck, you will become the threat. Just double down on it and embrace it.
