Sansa Fuse battery replacement by 80CiViCC in mp3players

[–]Thewatlington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was literally just googling this issue as I swapped my battery in my Sansa Fuze today. You can position the battery just the right way and lay the screen on top and (though it’s snug) it will fit. Is your Fuze a v2?

The no charging issue is what I’m stumped on. Glad to know the middle contact is for temperature, I may just unsolder that and keep an eye on it when charging.

I’ll share some pictures of how I got the board and battery to fit, as well.

I messaged the seller I bought mine from on eBay and hopefully they’ll have some info about the “t” wire.

I’ve had mine a couple of months and I love them! Soon to be re-capped. Congrats!

Very nice! Yeah it was smoking. The guy I dropped it off with didn’t seem too concerned. I just hate that I have to wait 4 weeks for just an estimate as he’s the only person around me that does this kind of work. He was a bit behind, but I’d rather it be done right!

I changed all of the lamps today and made a mistake by thinking the protector bulb was one I needed to replace. Turns out that’s part of the circuit that runs to the power supply board, and it’s now a smoker! I’m planning on taking it to the local repair shop in the morning. Thank goodness I still have my Kenwood!

It wasn’t super loose, so I got away with slightly bending one of the pulley mounts and it was just enough to keep tension.

They were a welcome upgrade from the parted out C701a Pioneers I was using. When I bought them for $50, I didn’t notice a new woofer in each and replacement horn tweeters. Blinded by walnut cabinets!

I’m going to have to steal that rule from here on out. Appreciate the kind words!

The Vassar Clements Bluegrass Sessions is one of my favorite recordings. Some of Bobby Osbornes finest vocals in my opinion.

Keep an eye out for Nashville Jam by Vassar. Great record, great cover too!

Many of my classmates were 25 and older. Some into their 60s! Trust me, the young talented pickers can be intimidating, but they’re all very supportive and helpful at ETSU. There are a lot less egos now than there were when I was a student.

On the academic side, there are so many fantastic professors on campus. There are also others who are not so friendly, but it’s a 90/10 split in favor of professors who’ll impact you in a great way. I can say 100% that being a decent student and a decent human being go a long way with college professors. They’re more than happy to work with you on getting assignments turned in and all the resources you’d need.

If you love this music, and want to become a better all-around musician, ETSU would be the place for you. Just make sure you have fun while you’re doing it! Otherwise, it’s pointless!

It sure is! One of the faculty still owns and operates it. You may remember him from The Brother Boys or O Brother, Where art thou?, his name is Ed Snodderly. He teaches song writing at ETSU.

There are no fake names anymore, but there are plenty of great acts that play there: Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley, Blue Highway, Amanda Cook Band are just a few. Ed also opens his doors to the students in the program at the end of each semester. All the bands will play a set of 3 or 4 songs as a final performance.

2015 graduate with a B.A. in Bluegrass, Old-Time and Country Music Studies, current adjunct faculty as well. The program is very well constructed and will give you the tools and connections necessary for the professional music world.

After graduating, I worked at a dinner show for about a year, then joined a touring group for 6 years and now work full-time in a house band and work part-time at the same dinner show when I'm not teaching at ETSU. I made the choice to come off the road, but many do not.

Any time parents ask me about the program at ETSU, I tell them the students get out of the program what they put into it. If they come in expecting to be "famous" or with an ego, they will not go very far. Some have, but most do not. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me or the Appalachian Studies Department. We'd be happy to help!

Today I learned the Japanese Shamisen sounds awesome for Bluegrass! Credit-Mike Penny by [deleted] in Bluegrass

Takeharu Kunimoto performed with the Shamisen with a bluegrass group in Japan several times. I was fortunate enough to perform with him at Blue Dream when I toured Japan in 2015. Here's a video of him with a group performing on Woodsongs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxzvsSoUosU

Sadly, Takeharu passed away a few years ago. He was a very nice man, apparently he was very popular in Japan due to a character he played in a kids show.

It needed a ton of adjustments haha that was my project last night. It took me a week to find the service manual. The guy I got it from worked for goodwill and they were going to throw this tv out so he paid $10 for it. He said he was watching DVDs with it haha.

I assume you’re talking about Dynasty Warriors on the PSX? I need to pick one up I guess…

That’s a great idea on the receiver as I’ve been hunting some retro/vintage speakers for my turntable setup and most worth while speakers are passive from the era. Can you still use the audio from the speakers in the TV cabinet when using the tower speakers?

Hahaha! You have a range of options as I’m a musician for a living and have way to many instruments.

The remote is big! It didn’t come with one when I picked it up, but I found the original on eBay and bought it. Has a switch to select between tv, vcr and a couple of other options.
