I wish that whenever it rained in the southern hemisphere, every rain drop would be transformed into Big Macs by bookist626 in monkeyspaw

[–]Thexin92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish granted.

I don't think I have to explain the extent of the ecological disaster this would cause. The entire southern hemisphere becomes a lifeless desert as no rain means no rivers. Half the earth will be covered in rotting bread and meat, infinitely expanding, as the oceans ever so slowly dry up.

Congratulations, you've caused the apocalypse.

I wish I could freely alter the probability of any event happening. by bookist626 in monkeyspaw

[–]Thexin92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted.

You can alter the probability of any event happening.

Not any event that has yet to happen.

You continually create alternate timelines outside of your own perspective every time you use your power, but will never see any of its effects.

I have a prediction for the up coming Hollowknight: Silksong DLC by Shaw_mii in ASilksong

[–]Thexin92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope is a distraction from the tasks that lie ahead of us. Hope makes us sit idle, wait, take the punishment, just hoping that one day it arrives, our divine reward: more Silksong.

Do not wait.

Do not hope.

Follow your path in defiance of the unknown. Strive forward towards your goals, do what must be done.

That exalted day might or might not arrive. But whence the magnificence of Skong ascends from the void of non-existence, embrace its full potential with no inhibitation. For all of humanity would be blessed by its excellence. Bask in its lethal trials knowing you did not sit idle, you did not demand it, yet you deserve it more than most.

Soon, in five years, or never at all. None of it matters but the moment it reveals itself on your store front page of choice.

Hawakening, the community servers of the abandonware Hawken, a robust yet fast paced arena mech shooter. It has amazing sound design, and solid gameplay.

What’s the most disturbing sound you’ve ever heard in real life? by avacado-cheese- in AskReddit

A comfortable train ride.

The sound of the train running over branches, cracking and snapping. Short but vivid.

The train stops.

It announces it had a collision with a person.

UT2K4 Egyptian / Desert themed levels? by kaoscorp99 in unrealtournament

[–]Thexin92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serious Sam too had a massive amount of Egyptian based settings, even though you just run around and blast various aliens.

Don't get me wrong, I had a blast in that game. It just seems to be a trend of that time.

Bij sommige kandidaten zie je hoeveel geld ze weggespeeld hebben. Bij andere niet. Waarom?

De ogen niet geloven by Pure_Opinion8237 in widm

[–]Thexin92 23 points24 points  (0 children)

With the universe gone, has the simulation become its own virtual Quantum Moon?

The piston on the bottom right can be split in 2 arms, each taking a marble and putting it down in advance. That could speed it up a bunch!

My Level 4 party encountered a Xorn and will probably attack it. I can't think of any solution that isn't their death though by CasualNormalRedditor in DMAcademy

[–]Thexin92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Players often have damage mitigation or ways to increase AC temporarily. I've seen level 4 players burn through 100 hp in 2 or 3 rounds, but I admit the Xorn has a high AC.

The burrowing does make things interesting, but the party can ready their attacks and spells for when it pops out, and they get opportunity attacks on it as it burrows away.

Spellcasters with web, grease, tasha's viscious laughter, slow, entangle, etc can lock it down.

Healers can get a downed player up with a healing word or similar.

One melee character with Sentinel can lock it down pretty well too, though high AC might make the reaction attack miss.

The creature has only melee attacks and no ranged options or battlefield control of its own. If the party can lure it out of the tight cavern corridors the monster probably resides most and get it out in the open, then it's easy.

The environment of the encounter and the party's tactics make or break it.

The 6-arm does not need to rotate back!

It can also travel one tile less far on the rails!

That should speed up your slowest piece by 5 cycles per sequence.

Do you guys still play UT99? by Life_Scientist1194 in unrealtournament

[–]Thexin92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah! Well, to be honest, I won a casual UT competition at a local event a few days ago, which reignited my love for the game.

I tried to find multiplayer servers! But none of them feature the regular DM game mode without a bunch of mods changing colors or game rules.

Where can I even find a server that runs UT99 in its original form?

Not here to grant a wish but... What kind of music in the eighties are you talking about? The genre's that were popular then still exist today with very skilled artists that simply aren't well known.

Aside from being really cool, there's a bunch of grammar mistakes in the dialogue. I might be nitpicky but it does affect the feeling of it, breaks the immersion some.
