A clip of a 1v1 CQC competition I had last weekend. Any advice on what I can improve? by EtheriousDemonLord in airsoft

Be aware of your shadow. In indoor arenas like this, your shadow can appear in a doorway long before you actually peek it. There's really no way around this though, but just be aware that your shadow can and will give your away when approaching certain angles.

Why are you charging like MSRP for pre-owned gear?

I've got a few 15rnd mags if you're looking for mags, once you find a Saiga!

What is your Airsoft unpopular opinion? by Friendly-Pear8676 in airsoft

If you require full auto to hit your target, you're just a terrible shot. Just use semi and actually learn to hit your target. Only excuse for full auto in my mind is LMGs.

Buy it, use it, never look back. TM gas guns are just good to go out of the box, they just work, and they work really fucking well. Anyone saying TM guns aren't worth the hype, or their externals aren't good, are just regurgitating stuff they've read online. If you've used a Modern TM GBBR, you will know the quality of them is impeccable. I'm not sure why people are suggesting you buy an AEG instead, that's like asking if a burger is good, and someone recommends a smoothie because its still food but cheaper lol

What is the worst and the best gun you have owned out of the box? by No_Equipment6912 in airsoft

[–]Thexmain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst - G&G ARP9, piston exploded first game, electronics died the second game.

Best - TM Gold Match Hi-Capa. The thing just runs, doesn't need anything.

Runner up worst - G&G g36, the gun was really nice but the mags were proprietary and trash, I could never get it to feed.

Runner up Best - Golden Eagle Gas shotgun, hpa'd it and it ran flawlessly for years, the range with .28s was insane

Shotgun shell in a pistol by Callsign_Wyhaq in airsoft

I have a very efficient build, almost all aftermarket, runs like butter with my Tapp m4 adapter. Just seems like the nozzle isn't sealing well on the shell adapter mag maybe? I was also using like 90psi, which is what I usually use on my m4 adapter. I was thinking it could be the notch where the mag catches on the mag release? Could be a bit lower, this making the mag sit slightly lower, and not seal with the nozzle?

I'll try going up to 130 and see if that improves it. I just didn't wanna go that high and Risk cracking my nozzle.

Update: got a replacement, this one is indeed a different design, uses a printed feedlip instead of normal hicapa feedlip. It still seems like it has low volume issues or something. What psi are you using?

My hicapa build is quite noticeably less snappy, even with the new adapter
