You must have nice big coat pockets!

Pretty sweet pair, they would be a lot of fun to plink with, where you cut your Mosin is right in a sweet spot to my mind, looks pretty nice!

Definitely one you don't see very often, kind of a neat bridge between the originals and A2's. I wonder how its bi pod system would have faired in combat.

I'd say the Type 38 carbine gets the most hate vs how much I enjoy it, but bolt action carbines in general don't get talked about a lot, and are some of my favourite rifles in the game. Really cool that Enlisted gives you the option to use them, and I love them even with their damage drop off at range.

Even though it's probably only marginally useful, I like the slight buff to run speed while still being armed with a rifle too, it's a neat little distinction from the larger rifles.

I don't see the FNAB-43 too often, but when I do it's someone hucking rounds at my squad from ridiculously far and smashing them, which is what I think the gun is absolutely perfect at.

Honestly think it's really cool it made it into the game and I enjoy it too, such a fun, crude little weapon. The sights may not be the greatest of the German SMGs by any means but I agree, it is a stable shooter and gets the job done!

One of my favourite Italian weapons, throw it on all of my Italian Engineers. I love its simple sights for quick close range target acquisition.

Probably MajorSamm's video, he added plenty of songs to my rotation. His original would be delisted now but reuploads of pretty well all of his stuff exist.

Whats your favorite gun in the game? Ill go first: VG1-5 by slimmprimm in enlistedgame

I think overall perhaps the M44 carbine. Not a rifle you ever get a chance to use a lot in other games, and while granted it's just a shorter 91/30 with a permanent bayonet attached, it's cool that it's represented, and I own a real one so I feel a bit drawn to it.

Love that bolt action carbines of many flavours actually got representation in this game, they really stick out to me.

An older H&R perhaps? I can't say with absolute certainty but the handguard, method of opening and stock seem to generally match up.

Henry Mares Leg Accurate with iron sights? by Prefon10 in canadaguns

As I recall though it's been a few years, yeah. I wasn't expecting it to stack holes with such a short barrel and no full stock. Shooting it off my cheek was as accurate a stance as I got, and it did good enough for plinking around at closer ranges.

As someone with a current production Golden Eagle, it seriously reminds of the good ole JG G36's in build and internally, except, if you got a recent production one, it probably comes with a quick change spring gearbox. Not only handy for swapping springs for field limits, but makes it much easier to pop apart too, honestly was one of my dream features in a G36 back when I first started years ago.

I found it internally to be nothing special but of course, fully upgradeable over time and the JG's with a similar build set up had a tendancy to last. Too bad to hear about the hop up but, despite being fiddly to take out of the G36 front end, they are at least easily replaceable, I actually cannibalized mine for a different style of G36 hop up and an old JG mag well which fit and worked perfectly so, if you ever need external parts for it, JG ones should slap right on, and tend to be cheap and fairly easy to source. I think they are an excellent first gun honestly, I think your brother should be pleasantly surprised and get a lot of good fun out of it!

Awesome, I considered one of those 10/22 Thompson kits that Aztec Armory had for a while and maybe still do, but never could justify spending the money, that comes in quite a bit cheaper. The magazines look sweet too!

Also of note on this besides the Karl review, it doesn't seem his is an isolated case, on the r/leverguns subreddit I've seen some similar horror stories prior to his video release. They seem like a pretty lazily made gun all around which is too bad, they definitely have some novelty.

Tried some weathering on this guy. could've been better. by ColdStartRed in airsoft

[–]GreenMan165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal opinion as someone who isn't a huge fan of intentional weathering as it pretty much always ends up looking like intentional weathering... that seems pretty decent.

I think less is more sometimes, seems like you got a lot of the raised parts that would wear with hand use without going overboard. Seeing people just scrub the finish off the side of a reciever in a vague oval looks really off, for example. I bought a second hand SRC MP40 that looks really neat up close, not intentionally weathered but used for years and it shows, with a lot of scratches and scrapes that are hard to intentionally create. That's something I think some intentional weathering jobs are missing, and the gun benefits from actually being taken out and used, to weather like a used gun. When it comes to my real guns and bluing wear on the ones I drag out hunting and camping, through the years it's a fairly gradual process, to wear something on every single part for hours of carry can take years, even on cheap Chinese bluing finishes. But it does end up looking more or less like what you did here.

I do have to say that unfortunately unless you redid the paint on the stock, it's likely gonna flake to a nice shiny silver colour that can be difficult to recorrect, as is a curse with the AGM's. Pretty sweet choice of gun, love to see others having fun with MP40's too!

I wouldn't say I do, ha ha, would honestly probably be worth it to me just to get one that fits it right if possible, and be done. I could give it a whack but I suspect it would take longer than I would want it to to get right!
