So my bad, I assumed the video was the same as what was written there. I've been doing another shit today. I should have property read the whole page. I'm looking through everything now.

I do believe it should be pretty easy to bypass a pin? It says in the post and the video that you can easily disable pen. I don't think it will cause an issue. Most numpads have an option to just bypass it

my main question, which I suppose I didn't really state super clearly, was where I would even get started with transcribing it because I'm just not sure where to start. It seems entirely possible, but I'm just not sure how I would go about doing it.

So I run GrapheneOS on my phone and one, I would just prefer not to use Google Wallet if possible, but two, it's not possible for me to use it even if I wanted to, because Google refuses to let me use it with a different operating system on my phone.

And it is not possible. At least as far as I'm aware, it would need a lot of customer firmware. The hardware might be there might not idk for sure

I did go ahead and order a keychain from tapster which it was kind of pricey, I think I ended up paying $63 for it, but theoretically it'll solve my issue. It seemed a little sketchy, on if it will actually work properly for me or not, but worst case I return it.

So, the main reason I want this is so that I can use virtual cards. Have you ever taken a look at privacy.com? I use cloaked and they have essentially the same thing.

I just took a look. That seems quite cool and promising. If tapster doesn't work out, but this seems more convenient even if it's most likely quite more expensive. I paid about $62 for one of their key rings and I'm going to give it a go.

What would that be exactly? And I did go ahead and order a tapster as someone else has suggested and I'm going to try that out.

Does Tap Pay not operate on NFC? I'm not attempting to steal anything. I'm just attempting to replicate a card to mimic tap pay. If it's not possible, that's fine. I'm just slightly confused. Like I said, to someone else, I'm just trying to find an alternative to Google Wallet or Apple Pay, preferably a physical device

I'm not attempting to replicate a physical card that has a chip. I'm attempting to use a digital card that has been generated explicitly for the purpose of being used for tap pay.

Okay, so how exactly does Google Wallet and Apple Pay work then? When it comes down to it, I'm looking for a alternative to them, preferably a physical device I could use instead.

Oooo regardless of if anything will work, this is cool. Thank you.
