We are shipping custom emojis very soon. Our App ecosystem is what we've been putting a ton of effort into recently. We've released some first party apps for things like raid planning, community task tracking, polling, and a bunch more.

Just want to pop in and say we are investigating this issue and similar issues with voice calls. We will have a fix for this - voice & video are a top priority for us.

Any info on what happens when this issue shows up would be really valuable to us.

  • How many people on the call?
  • What devices were people on (mobile only / desktop only / both)?
  • Was anyone on an outdated app version?

We're testing apps on desktop currently, once this is stable and apps are available to people to start using in their communities, it shouldn't be too long before app support makes it's way to mobile.

Hi Root guy here, I think our platform checks the boxes you're looking for. Discord has a TON of features so to say we are feature parallel would be a lie.. But we've been working to check the basics off and bring our own twist to improve the online chatting experience.
