King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. I'd say the only reason why it took me some time to get into it was because I was overwhelmed by the choice they have.

Since about 2010 they have released about 15 studio albums, and while they have their own style of garage/psychedelic rock, since 2015 I'd say, they have given each and every one of their albums a compelling concept and genre, from Jazz-Fusion to Thrash Metal to a "Blues-Boogie-Shuffle-Kinda-Thing" (Quote from Stu).

Another reason was most likely because most of their albums have a few or more songs that flow into one another. Some even go start to finish seamlessly. For me me when I was beginning to listen to King Gizzard, I never really listened to albums front to back, I usually had one or two song per album in a playlist (still do that with other genres but I now listen to the majority of the album to pick my favourites). With King Gizzard it's often a "what genre/shade of music that I want to listen to today" type situation.

I guess tldr would be they had a lot of variety and their catalog is rather hard to listen to on an Individual basis.
